What are collectibles?

Collectibles are items you acquire, buy, or steal throughout Crimson Desert. They include paintings, containers, dolls, and household objects. Unlike weapons or armor, they serve no combat function, and their value comes from three distinct uses.

• Home decoration: place collectibles inside your home to furnish and personalize it.
• NPC gifts: giving a collectible to a relevant NPC raises their trust level, which can lower shop prices or unlock new quests and requests.
• Currency: sell them to any merchant for quick money when you need to clear inventory space.

Should you sell collectibles?

Collectibles are generally safe to sell. Most are purchasable again at the Provisioner’s Shop, and open-world items like the Liquor Bottle can be picked up again without much effort.

The main reason to hold off on selling is gifting. Raising an NPC’s trust through gifts can reduce prices at their shop or open up new quests. Once you have maximized trust or no longer need a specific NPC’s benefits, those collectibles are safe to offload.

Stolen pieces like Acclaimed – Prelude to War and Study – Golden Lands come from specific locations, so consider whether you want them for home decoration before converting them to coin.
