The fourth installment moves to an entirely new world called Kairos, previously hidden by the Guardian of Time. According to the trailer, Siren Lilith’s actions during Pandora’s moon teleportation broke the concealment mechanism, triggering a civil war on the planet.
Players will control four new vault hunters: Amon, Harlowe, Rafa, and Vex as they explore Kairos’ open world environments. The story trailer highlights various locations across the war-torn planet that players will encounter.
Borderlands 4 launches September 12 for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The standard edition is available for pre-order at $70.
