The update, subtitled “Song of the Welkin Moon: Andante – Truth Amongst the Pages of Purana,” returns players to Sumeru as Nahida falls into an unexplained slumber and a new figure bearing a striking likeness to the defeated Il Dottore enters the conflict. Players who finish the chapter during the limited-time period can collect up to 560 Primogems and Nicole’s Ascension Materials, and unlock a new Weekly Boss. The new “Guiding Notes” feature provides in-game story recaps for players who need a refresher.
The three debut characters are:
Nicole Reeyn, a 5-star Pyro Catalyst wielder and the first playable mage from the Hexenzirkel. Her Elemental Skill grants an ATK Bonus to all party members and generates a shield. Her Elemental Burst summons an Arcane Projection that triggers Coordinated Attacks based on the active character’s element.
Lohen, a 5-star Cryo Polearm wielder and Vice Captain of the Knights of Favonius’ Fifth Company. He manages “Joy” and “Will to Win” to enter the Masterstroke state and deal Cryo damage, with added synergy when paired with Hexerei characters.
Prune, a 4-star Anemo Catalyst wielder certified as a “Witch Hunter” by Alice. She uses a bell and a giant hammer to trigger multi-Elemental damage and Swirl reactions.
Event Wishes run in two halves: Nicole and Prune debut in the first half with Durin’s rerun, while Lohen and Mavuika’s rerun headline the second.
Klee’s Little Hexenzirkel event puts players alongside Qiqi, Yaoyao, Sayu, and Prune for a series of mini-games, with the exclusive weapon appearance “Super Awesome Magic Key” as a reward. Miliastra Wonderland hosts a sports festival, and Manekins can now perform actions across Teyvat for Kamera use. The Witch’s Lodge interior in Nicole’s Meeting Point: The Witch’s Garden opens for the first time, with new rooms, stories, and hidden rewards unlocking each week.
