Eligibility
Reach Adventure Rank 20 or above, and complete the Archon Quest “For a Tomorrow Without Tears”.
Complete Albedo’s Story Quest “Traveler Observation Report” and Joel’s “Lost in the Snow” Quest.
[*] During the event, the Adventure Rank required to accept Albedo’s Story Quest “Traveler Observation Report” will be adjusted to 20. Story Keys will not be required to unlock it.
Event Summary
This event will be devided into three phases: Born of the Snow, Dragonspine Special Training and Mysterious Challenge.
Step 1: Take part in Dragonspine Special Training to obtain rewards and various Snowman Components.
Step 2: Use the Snowman Components to make Puffy Snowmen in the encampment.
Step 3: Build the corresponding number of the Puffy Snowmen to complete the tasks in Born of the Snow and obtain the corresponding rewards.
Rewards: Primogems, Cinnabar Spindle, Snowman Torso, and Mora.
In addition, you can also get rewards by completing the Mysterious Challenge.
Event Overview
Born of the Snow
During this event, you can use the Snowman Components to make Puffy Snowmen in you camp.
Step 1: Travelers can obtain various Snowman Components by taking part in Dragonspine Special Training. You can also send these components to your friends, or receive such components from them, through the event page.
Usable Snowman Components include: Snowman Head, Snowman Hands, Snowman Hat, Snowman Eyes, Snowman Nose, Snowman Scarf.
Step 2: Build a Puffy Snowman
- Set a Snowman Head first.
- Freely set other Snowman Components.
- Remember to save your progress.
Step 3: Complete Task: Once you have completed several Puffy Snowmen, you will obtain the corresponding rewards.
Rewards: Primogems, Cinnabar Spindle, Snowman Torso, and Mora.
During the venet and after it ends, you can event bring Snowman Torsos and Snowman Components that you have obtained into you Serenitea Pot and continue to make Puffy Snowmen there.
Dragonspine Special Training
There are three types of Dragonspine Special Training: Agility Training, Tracker Training, and Combat Training.
Agility Training
During the event, four races tracks will be available. Travelers can follows directions on their map and teleport to the race track.
After beginning the race track training, Travelers should follow the guides to proceed down a race course and collect Insignias of Adventure and Insignias of Conquest. The amount of points you score for the special training is based on the amount of time consumed and the number of Insignias you obtained during the training.
- Igsignias of Adventure: Scattered in the race track and some will be hidden in the course.
- Igsignias of the Conquest: Appear only at certain times.
Inaddition, Blessings appearing on the track will enhance the character’s abilities and help Travelers complete their training even faster.
- Galespring Blessing: Enhance your character’s jumping power.
- Ironskin Blessing: Allow your character to shatter the ice pillars around them.
Rewards: Primogems, Snowstrider Emblems, Mystic Enhancement Ore, and Mora.
Snowstrider Emblems can be exchanged in the Event Shop for rewards.
Tracker Training
Eight tracker training challenges will be available during the event. Travelers can follow directions on their map and teleport to the training location.
Find and melt all the Ice Crystal Piles within the training area to complete this Tracker Training session.
Melting certain Ice Crystal Piles will allow you to find Snowman Components used to build Puffy Snowmen. You will obtain at least one of every Component type if you complete all the Tracker Training sessions.
Rewards: Primogems, Snowstrider Emblems, Snowman Components, and Mora.
Combat Training
Eight combat training challenges will be available during the event. Travelers can follow directions on their map and teleport to the training location.
Combat Training camps contain Lures that have two modes:
- Source Cold Mode: Increase the rate at which Sheer Cold will accumulate on your characters and buff nearby opponents.
- Heat Source Mode: Decrease the accumulation of Sheer Cold and buff character.
There are three mechanisms around the Lures. When characters carrying Scarlet Quartz attack these mechanisms, they will activate.
Scarlet Quartz may be found near the Lures.
Once all three mechanisms are activated, they will change the Lure’s state to “Heat Source” and decrease the accumulation of Sheer Cold.
Activating the challenge after switching Lures to Heat Source mode also provides characters with the following buffs for the duration of the challenge:
They will have a certain amount of Energy restored at fixed intervals.
When a character lands an attack on an opponent while carrying Scarlet Quartz, the attack will unleash all the Quartz’s energy in one go and will also trigger one shockwave at that opponent’s position, dealing AoE Pyro DMG.
You may obtain Scarlet Quartz from defeating certain monsters.
Activating the challenge after switching Lures to Heat Source mode also provides characters with the following buffs for the duration of the challenge:
Rewards: Primogems, Snowstrider Emblems, Snowman Head, and Mora.
Mysterious Challenge
During the event, complete Shadows Amidst Snowstorms Act II: The Shadows Deepen to unlock Mysterious Challenge.
To ensure that Travelers are experiencing the story, they are invited to find out the mystery behind this challenge.
Complete the Mysterious Challenge to obtain: Mysterious Emblems, Hero’s Wit, and Mora.
Event Shop
Travelers can obtain Snowstrider Emblems and Mysterious Emblems after completing the event challenges, and exchange them for rewards in the Event Shop.
Snowstrider Emblems (Obtained after completing Dragonspine Special Training) can be exchanged for: Alkahest, Weapon Ascension Meterials, Hero’s Wit and Mystic Enhancement Ore.
Mysterious Emblems (Obtained after completing Mysterious Challenge) can be exchanged for: Crown of Insight, Alkahest, Talent Level-Up Meterials and Mora.
Alkahest is the Weapon Refinement Material of Cinnabar Spindle (Sword).
