Titled “To Roll the Stars in Astropolis,” the update moves the Astral Express narrative forward following the confrontation with Lord Ravager Asat Pramad. Players journey to Astropolis, the corporate stronghold of the Interastral Peace Corporation, to secure assistance for Planarcadia after a crisis sparked by the Voracity.
The first phase features Robin – Summeretto, a five-star Wind unit on the Path of Remembrance. In combat, she sings alongside her bird band to buff allies, advance team actions, and restore Energy. Her banner runs alongside the limited five-star Light Cone “Rise and Sing,” the four-star Light Cone “A Little Getaway,” and a rerun for Hyacine.
Starting Sept. 12, the second phase introduces Aventurine – Waveflair, a five-star Quantum character on the Path of Elation who uses beach volleyball and surfing attacks to trigger bonus area strikes. His banner arrives with the five-star Light Cone “Summer Rides the Surf” and a rerun for Ashveil.
Version 4.5 also adds the “Overdrive: Whirlwind Grand Prix” racing event, the “Minuscule Great Adventure” challenge, and an update to the Divergent Universe mode. Quality-of-life updates include a toggle to speed up story dialogue, alongside double-drop events for Planar Fissure and Realm of the Strange.
HoYoverse also announced upcoming collaborations, including Sparkle-themed audio products with MOONDROP and a crossover with Zenless Zone Zero scheduled for later this year.
