Tips and tricks
Smith’s Legacy (Passive)
After two different skill casts, Julian’s next skill is enhanced. Casting the enhanced skill makes all his skills go on cooldown but empowers his subsequent Basic Attacks for a period of time. Enemies hit by the empowered Basic Attacks will be pulled toward Julian.
In addition, every time Julian hits an enemy with his skills, a stack of extra Magic Lifesteal will be added. Stacks up to 3 times.
Tips: Casting the enhanced skill makes all his skills go on cooldown, but empowers his subsequent Basic Attacks for a period of time. If previous skill casts hit the intended target, he can spam empowered Basic Attacks with extra Magic Power to heal himself. This boosts his survivability during this period!
Scythe (1)
Scythe is Julian’s primary harassing tool that deals damage to enemies in its path and slows them.
Tips: Use this skill during the laning phase to harass your laning opponent and kickstart powerful combos.
Enhanced Scythe
Enhanced Scythe offers the highest burst damage. Julian hurls two flying scythes in the target direction that stop upon hitting an enemy hero or creep, and deals continuous damage to enemies in the area. Scythes move slowly after they are released.
Tips: Use Enhanced First Skill as the Ult and you can deal significant burst damage. This is ideal in one-on-one duels.
Sword (2)
Sword is Julian’s mobility skill which deals damage to enemies along the way.
Tips: Use it as the first skill of a sequence, or cast it to get away safely.
Enhanced Sword
Enhanced Sword allows Julian to get away from even the direst situation in battle. Julian summons a large number of flying swords and briefly disappears, dealing continuous damage to enemies in an area. He’s invincible during this process, and will reappear within a certain distance after a short while.
Tips: Casting Enhanced Second Skill as the Ult allows Julian to blink while dealing significant damage. Being invincible also gives him a chance to dodge the enemy’s major damage.
Chain (3)
Julian casts chains at the target location, dealing damage to enemies hit and immobilizing them.
Tips: As Julian’s main control skill, Chain can be used to start the combo by controlling the enemy before Enhanced First Skill is cast. This allows Julian to deal continuous AoE damage!
Enhanced Chain
Julian casts enhanced chains at the target location, dealing continuous damage to enemies in the area and slowing them. Enemies that remain in the area after a while are knocked airborne.
Tips: This skill can be used as the Ult in team fights to provide crowd control.
Skill Combo
Solo Fight
During the laning phase, cast Sword to get close to your laning opponent.
Use Chain to immobilize the opponent.
Cast Enhanced Scythe to deal damage. You may also aim for kills with this combo when you’re up squishy victims.
Team Fight
In team fights, cast Scythe from a distance to add a stack of extra Magic Lifesteal.
Then use Sword to move in quickly.
Cast Enhanced Chain at the location with the most enemies for maximum crowd control, then spam the empowered Basic Attacks to dish out more damage and heal yourself, or retreat. In the worst case scenario, use the skill to retreat to safety!
