Tencent’s TiMi Studio Group has released a new promotional trailer for “Honor of Kings: World,” offering fans a deeper look into the upcoming multiplayer adventure game set in an expansive Eastern fantasy universe.
The trailer provides gameplay details previously unseen, including combat mechanics, multiplayer features and explorable environments. A developer from the team guides viewers through various aspects of the game while addressing frequently asked questions from the community.
“Honor of Kings: World” expands beyond the original mobile MOBA game, transforming familiar elements into a full adventure. The iconic Red and Blue Buffs from the original game appear as actual creatures rather than jungle monsters to farm, serving as summoned companions in battle.
The combat system showcases four distinct weapons created through a mechanic called “Primal Flow”: the ringblades, the lance, the hammers and the sword. Players can switch between unique combat styles mid-battle and activate special abilities like “Chrono Anomaly,” which slows enemy movement and charges attacks for massive damage.
“The game offers many ways to enjoy it, but this time we’re focusing on combat,” the developer explains in the trailer.
Several key locations across the fictional land of Primaera are highlighted:
- Jixia Academy: A premier learning institution where many celebrated heroes trained
- Springbrook Plains: Where students begin their academic journey among ancient ruins
- Stargazing Range: Mountains offering expansive views and the legendary Stargazing Terrace
- Dragon Valley: A skeletal dragon forms a network of ruins used by the academy
- East and West Aerfall Highlands: Home to ancient mechanoids and Frostcloud Town
The trailer also introduces character interactions that weren’t possible in the original “Honor of Kings,” allowing players to bond with heroes outside of battle.
“In Honor of Kings: World, you can not only fight with your favorite heroes but also enjoy team battles and adventures with companions,” the developer notes, adding that more multiplayer modes are planned for future implementation.
The team emphasized that mobile optimization remains a development priority, confirming the game will release across multiple platforms. No specific release date was announced.
“This video only shows a small part of the vast world,” the developer concludes. “Starting from Jixia, someday you’ll explore every corner of the continent. An epic story awaits.”
