Bandai Namco Entertainment has unveiled the Raider, the latest playable character for the upcoming “Elden Ring Nightreign,” in a new character trailer released today.
The Raider is positioned as a tank-like character with “exceptional strength and fortitude” capable of both absorbing and dealing significant damage, making them a formidable presence on the battlefield.
“Stand resolute in the chaos of battle. A heart that knows no fear shall carve a path through the Night’s tide,” reads the official character description, highlighting the Raider’s role as a frontline combatant.
Elden Ring Nightreign represents a significant departure from the original game’s formula, focusing on cooperative survival action rather than the solo soulslike experience that defined the original title. The game is set within the established Elden Ring universe but appears to offer a distinctly different gameplay experience.
Developed by FromSoftware and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment, Elden Ring Nightreign will launch on May 30 across multiple platforms including PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
