The beta runs on Windows PC only, has no in-game purchases, and wipes all player progress once it ends. Silver Palace is an open-world fantasy RPG set in the city of Silvernia, where a Silverium-powered society meets Victorian design and anime-style art.
Access is not open to everyone. Elementa is running a Twitch Drops event that enters viewers into a raffle for test slots, open from 10 p.m. EDT July 22 to noon EDT July 25. To qualify, players must:
- Link their Twitch account to their Silver Palace account
- Watch Silver Palace streams on Twitch
- Claim the reward before the event ends
Watch missions alone do not guarantee a spot, only a place in the selection. Elementa will email chosen players within 48 hours, and players can confirm eligibility through the ‘Check Test Access’ tool on the official site.
This round brings in the male protagonist for the first time. Players can pick a male or female Detective, and the roster has grown to 15 characters, eight of them new to this test.
The fresh story content builds around investigation and deduction, with multi-branch quests and character-specific arcs. More of Silvernia is open to explore, filled with puzzles, treasures, and hidden incidents. Players can also race horses through the city streets between cases.
Combat has been rebuilt around dodging, parrying, stamina management and a stun buildup mechanic. A new combat-assist system lowers the barrier for newer players, while reworked skills, ultimates and boss fights add difficulty for the rest.
The plot follows a detective drawn into the mystery of the queen’s death. The two-Detective choice and the city’s clash of the advanced and the antiquated both circle back to the game’s name and theme: dichotomy.
