The top-down adventure game features challenging boss battles and dynamic world exploration in both solo and multiplayer modes. Players can participate in a public playtest running July 3-9, showcasing new features including solo queue and enhanced base-building mechanics.
“When I played Vaultbreakers, I was genuinely excited by the experience of connecting with other players,” said Hideaki Uehara from Square Enix Holdings. The investment will boost BetaDwarf’s production capabilities as they build on feedback from over 50,000 previous playtest participants.
The studio, known for Forced and Minion Masters, is fast-tracking community-requested features like solo queue and PvE-only mode. Players can access the current playtest through vaultbreakers.com or Twitch Drops campaigns.
