505 Games and Leenzee Games have announced that Wuchang: Fallen Feathers will release on July 24 across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series consoles, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store. The dark fantasy action RPG will also be available on Game Pass at launch.
Set during the tumultuous late Ming Dynasty in the land of Shu, the game follows Wuchang, an amnesiac pirate warrior afflicted by the mysterious Feathering disease that spawns monstrous creatures across the realm.
Players who pre-order will receive the “Night & White Pack” containing ten costume pieces across two enhanced outfit sets, the “Vermillion War Club” axe weapon, and a “Glistening Red Mercury Skill Upgrade Item.”
A Deluxe Edition will also be available featuring the base game plus additional content:
- Four costumes: “Tiger of Fortune,” “Draconic Resurgence,” “Soul Ritual Robe,” and “Overlord’s Regalia”
- Four weapons: “Watcher’s Gaze” sword, “Dragoncoil Lance” spear, “Eternal Sovereignty” dual blades, and “Moonlight Dragon” sword
- “Blood of Changhong Skill Upgrade Item”
According to 505 Games, players will navigate through forgotten temples and overgrown ruins while battling grotesque abominations. The combat system allows players to evolve their fighting style by sacrificing Red Mercury and developing techniques harvested from fallen enemies.
The game promises multiple endings determined by player choices, secrets discovered, and alliances formed throughout the journey.
Wuchang: Fallen Feathers combines Soulslike combat mechanics with a rich narrative backdrop, allowing players to enhance their arsenal with powerful enchantments that complement their preferred combat approach as they work to unveil the truth behind Wuchang’s curse and restore peace to the land of Shu.
