Howler Core is the oldest enemy drop in the game, carried by the Tacet Discords you have been cutting through since Jinzhou: herons, Hoochiefs, Roseshrooms, Spearbacks, Saurians and dozens more, in both Jinzhou and Mengzhou. Most accounts sit on a pile of the lower tiers already. Check the upper end first, since Suoming alone needs 61 FF Howler Core, the largest enemy drop on her list.
Both Polarizer dungeons hand out the same four tiers for the same Waveplate, so run whichever one you have unlocked. Cloudfall Chasm sits in Mengzhou and Fallen Sanctum in Lahai-Roi. Neither is a Sword dungeon as such: each one carries the material line for all five weapon types, and you pick Polarizer on the way in. Watch the naming: the map and the material screen disagree about the Lahai-Roi dungeon, which appears as Forsaken Remnants when you tap a Polarizer to see where it drops. Qingxiao and Yangyang: Xuanling use the same four Polarizer materials, so leftovers from either build carry straight across.
Forged Empyrean’s Sigh comes from Calamity Effigy, the overworld boss that arrived with Version 3.6. It stands at Verdant Court, in the northwest corner of Xuanfang Hold. The fight opens through Chapter 4 Act 3, and if you have not reached that point, the Guidebook offers an Early Access entry under Boss Challenge. Qingxiao and Jingran draw from the same boss, so the 46 Suoming needs come on top of whatever those two already took.
Remnant of the Wheel drops from a weekly boss that Kuro has not revealed yet. Everything about it, from the name to the region, is still under wraps, though the new Mengzhou area is the likely home given the rest of the patch. Suoming wants 26 drops, and Hsin, who opens the patch, needs the same material, so an account pulling both is looking at 52. The weekly reset caps how many you can carry home, so clear the fight every week from the day it opens, even before Suoming’s banner arrives.
Miasmic Branch is the one material you cannot touch before the patch lands. It grows in the new Mengzhou area arriving with Version 3.7, and nobody has a node count yet. Past Mengzhou specialties ran from 42 to 57 reachable nodes on day one, short of the 60 a resonator needs, with the Huaxu Apothecary making up the gap at 3,000 Shell Credit each on a weekly refresh. Expect Miasmic Branch to follow the same pattern, and check the Apothecary once the patch is live.
Suoming’s later banner slot works in your favour. Howler Core, Polarizer, and Forged Empyrean’s Sigh all drop today, so farm those now. The weekly boss and Miasmic Branch open with the first half of the patch, which gives you several weeks of resets and gathering runs before she arrives.
