How to obtain
LF Autopuppet Kernel, MF Autopuppet Kernel, HF Autopuppet Kernel, FF Autopuppet Kernel: Dropped by autopuppet enemies in Xuanfang Hold, west of Jinzhou.
Broken Wing Polarizer, Monowing Polarizer, Polywing Polarizer, Layered Wing Polarizer: Obtained from Forgery Challenge: Cloudfall Chasm in Mengzhou and Forgery Challenge: Fallen Sanctum in Lahai-Roi, which the material screen calls Forsaken Remnants.
Solidarity’s Loneflame: Dropped by the Myriad Snare: Rustfire Chassis overworld boss in Western Fang Peaks, Xuanfang.
Skyward Glazed Heart: Dropped by Thousand-Puppet Pavilion, a Calamity Class weekly boss south-east of Xuanfang Hold City.
Cloudperch Seed: Gathered around Southern Yuan Hills and Eastern Xuan Peaks, bought from the Huaxu Apothecary, and given as a Chapter 4 quest reward.
Basic Resonance Potion, Advanced Resonance Potion, Premium Resonance Potion: Earned from Simulation Training (Resonance Potion).
Shell Credit: Earned from Simulation Training (Shell Credit).
Almost everything in Xuanfang Hold drops Autopuppet Kernel materials, from the three Picket variants to the six Kernel Puppets, the Forbidden Bastion, and both halves of the Fog Lionarch. Yangyang: Xuanling needs 61 FF Autopuppet Kernel on her own, the largest enemy drop on the list. Start early.
Solidarity’s Loneflame comes from the Myriad Snare: Rustfire Chassis, an overworld boss in the Western Fang Peaks area of Xuanfang. You reach that area through Chapter 4 Act 1, The Wind Before the Storm.
Skyward Glazed Heart drops from Thousand-Puppet Pavilion, the Calamity Class weekly boss sitting south-east of the main Xuanfang Hold City. It unlocks after Chapter 4 Act 2, Xuanling Sings, Storm Quelled, though you can fight it before touching the quest by opening your Guidebook and picking it from the Weekly Challenge list. The boss deals Electro and Havoc damage, so bring resonators who can survive both. Yangyang: Xuanling wants 26 hearts and the weekly cap decides how fast you get them, so clear the fight every week whether or not you are ready to spend them.
Cloudperch Seed reaches you from three directions. Southern Yuan Hills holds bunches of them, three south of Xianling Village and five south of the Gate of Xuanfang. Eastern Xuan Peaks holds more, four near the teleport waypoint between Eastern Fogveil Pass and Boughrest Bridge, and five north of Eastern Fogveil Pass.
The Huaxu Apothecary at Xuanfang Hold sells 15 seeds at 3,000 Shell Credit each, but the shop only opens once you finish the Chapter 4 main quest. Three of those quests pay out seeds directly: The Wind Before the Storm, Xuanling Sings Storm Quelled, and Segue: The Chant of Unseen Ties.
One more batch of five comes from the Resonator Skill Tutorial for Yangyang: Xuanling, and that one has a catch. You can only claim it if you pulled her from her limited banner. Skip the banner and those five never appear.
Yangyang Xuanling materials FAQ
How much Shell Credit does Yangyang: Xuanling need?
3,053,300 in total: 170,000 for the six ascension ranks, 2,030,000 for the full Forte tree, and 853,300 to level her from 1 to 90.
Does that number include her weapon?
No. The in-game material overview counts the character and the weapon together, which is why it shows a larger figure. A five-star weapon adds roughly 1,400,000 Shell Credit on top.
How many Skyward Glazed Heart does Yangyang: Xuanling need?
26, all from the weekly boss Thousand-Puppet Pavilion south-east of Xuanfang Hold City.
What takes the longest to farm?
Skyward Glazed Heart. The weekly boss caps how many you can take home each reset, so 26 hearts spread across several weeks no matter how much Waveplate you burn.
Which materials does Yangyang: Xuanling share with her weapon?
The four Polarizer materials. Autopuppet Kernel is for Yangyang: Xuanling, Exoswarm Core is for the weapon.
Figures verified against Version 3.5 in-game data. Shell Credit totals assume no wasted EXP when levelling; feeding whole potions adds roughly 3%.
