Independent French developer Sandfall Interactive has released its highly-anticipated debut game “Clair Obscur: Expedition 33” worldwide today. Published by Kepler Interactive, the game is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S (included with Xbox Game Pass), and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
The fantasy role-playing game draws inspiration from Belle Époque France, creating an original world filled with stunning locations and secrets. Players can experience an emotional, cinematic story brought to life by an impressive voice cast featuring notable talent from both gaming and film industries, including Charlie Cox, Jennifer English, Ben Starr and Andy Serkis.
Gameplay features innovative reactive turn-based battles and deep character customization. The game world is fully explorable through a navigable world map connecting various locations and challenging side content.
Coinciding with the games release, Laced Records has published the complete original soundtrack on major streaming platforms. The extensive collection includes 154 tracks spanning over eight hours of music, composed by Lorien Testard with vocals by Alice Duport-Percier, Victor Borba, and Ben Starr.
Music enthusiasts can also discover “Nos vies En Lumière,” a special 33-minute composition that captures key themes from the soundtrack in a musical journey reflecting the games world.
The game is available in standard and digital Deluxe editions, with the latter including the “Flowers” Collection and custom outfits for main characters Maelle and Gustave.
