HoYoverse brought its space fantasy adventure to life during the Honkai: Star Rail Concert in Shanghai from May 1-3, delivering both musical performances and major announcements. The highly anticipated collaboration with Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works will officially launch July 11, featuring Archer and Saber as playable characters in the “Sweet Dreams and the Holy Grail” event.
Trailblazers received welcome news about the collaboration details. Players who log in when the event begins will receive the 5-star character Archer (The Hunt, Quantum) for free. Meanwhile, Saber (Destruction, Wind) will be available through the Event Warp system.
The original concept designs for both characters were created by renowned artist Takashi Takeuchi, with collaboration story supervision from Kinoko Nasu, ensuring authenticity to the Fate franchise while integrating the characters into the Honkai: Star Rail universe.
In addition to the collaboration reveal, HoYoverse surprised fans with a teaser trailer for a brand-new Honkai game. The short clip showed two creature trainers preparing for battle, hinting at a shift in gameplay direction. While the game’s title hasn’t been officially confirmed, recent trademark filings and social media activity suggest it could be called Honkai: Nexus Anima.
