The 2019 Honor of Kings Champion Cup is the second Honor of Kings international tournament in 2019 hosted by Tencent Games. The tournament will held in Macau and Guangzhou, China from December 26th, 2019 to January 4, 2020.
KNOCKOUT STAGE FORMAT
Eight teams participate:
- Top 3 teams from KPL Fall 2019.
- Top 3 teams from KRKPL Fall 2019.
- Top 2 teams from Qualifier Stage.
Single Elimination Bracket.
All matches are played in a Bo7.
PRIZE POOL
Each team has an initial “bounty” of 450,000 CNY starting from the Knockout Stage, total of 3,600,000 CNY (~$513,793.21 USD).
Winning team will win a portion of bounties from the losing team based on their Bo7 match results.
Eliminated team takes home with the remaining bounties.
Example: Teams eliminated with a score of 4:3 will lose ¥180,000 CNY (40%) to the winning team, thus will take home 270,000 CNY:
- 4:0: 70%
- 4:1: 60%
- 4:2: 50%
- 4:3: 40%
