August 23th 2019 Update Patch Notes
Let’s check out Onmyoji Arena newest update patch notes on August 23th, 2019. This update sees Ootengu’s Great Spirit skin Demonic Tengudo arrives and many changes on item adjustments.
FREE SHIKIGAMI LINEUP ADJUSTMENTS
Onmyoji Arena will change the lineup of limited-time free shikigami on August 26th, 2019. The new free shikigami will be Youko, Kusa, Ibaraki Doji, Yumekui, Kingyo, Hangan, Kubinashi, Mouba and Mannendake.
Of these shikigami, Kubinashi, Mouba and Mannendake have a difficulty of Extreme. Onmyoji who have been in Heian-kyo for less than 7 days can’t use them in battle.
ITEM ADJUSTMENTS
1. New Items
Shadow Blade
Price: 1,900 Coins.
Stats: ATK +70, HP +400.
Passive Effect [Dark Feathers]: Armor Penetration +15 (+1.75*current level).
Passive Effect [Suppression]: Your physical damage will weaken enemy shikigami’s healing effects by 40% over 4 seconds.
2. Adjustments on item prices and functions
Demon Mask
Adjusted price from 1,800 coins to 2,000 coins.
Stats: ATK+40, HP+600.
Passive Effect (Demon Visage]: Adjusted damage to be absorbed by the shield to 270 (+50% Max HP). When the shield is triggered, Base Attack will be increased by 50% over 5 seconds. The effect can be refreshed when dealing damage to enemy shikigami.
Bonerotter
Adjusted Attack HP Steal +10% as Life Steal +8% and Spell Vampire +8%.
Passive Effect [Sacred Bones]: Grants 1.25% Life Steal and Spell Vampire for every 10% HP lost, up to a maximum of 8%.
Grass-cutting Sword
Adjusted price from 2,000 coins to 2,250 coins.
Passive Effect [Amaterasu]: Adjusted extra damage from 90 (+10*current level) to 90+(90% extra Attack).
Boots of Fury
Adjusted Movement Speed from 45 to 60.
Passive Effect [Fury]: Reduce Slow Effect by 35%.
Greater Devourer Ball
Adjusted Magic Resist from 90 to 105.
Lucky Parasol
Adjusted Magic Resist and Armor from 120 to 135.
Tale of Izumo
Adjusted price from 2,550 coins to 2,350 coins.
3. Adjustments on MP Regen items
Mandala Sutra
Adjusted MP Regen from 100% to 75%.
Passive Effect [Soul Talisman]: Adjusted MP restored when using abilities from 25% of MP Cost to 20% of MP Cost.
Shichimen Tennyo
Adjusted Ability Power from 90 to 100.
Adjusted MP Regen from 150% to 100%.
Tsukuyomi Do
Adjusted HP from 250 to 270.
Adjusted MP Regen from 100% to 75%.
Passive Effect [Soul Talisman]: Adjusted MP restored when using abilities from 25% of MP Cost to 20% of MP Cost.
Kitsune Mask
Passive Effect [Soul Talisman]: Adjusted MP restored when using abilities from 15% of MP Cost to 10% of MP Cost.
Soul Infusion
Adjusted MP Regen from 75% to 50%.
Passive Effect [Soul Talisman]: Adjusted MP restored when using abilities from 15% of MP Cost to 10% of MP Cost.
Ningyo Soulstone
Adjusted MP Regen from 75% to 50%.
4. Adjusted Special Effect Names
Modified passive effect names of Grass-cutting Sword, Soul Grabber and Ama-no-Ohabari as Cursed Scar.
Modified passive effect names of Amanozako’s Bow, Marsh Moon and Hoko Do as Suppression.
SPELL ADJUSTMENTS
Bind
Adjusted reduction of damage dealt by enemy shikigami from 40% to 50%.
Shift
Adjusted cooldown from 180 seconds to 150 seconds.
SHIKIGAMI ADJUSTMENTS
Dodomeki
Trait: Ghost Eye
Adjusted the Spell Vampire conversion rate of every 1% Crit Rate from 0.625% to 0.4%.
Adjusted conversion limit from 25% to 15%.
NEW EVENTS
1. Demonic Tengudo
Event Period: August 23th after maintenance to August 29th, 2019.

2. Recharge Rebate
Event Period: August 23th after maintenance to August 29th, 2019.

DEMON ENCOUNTER
New shikigami Hana joins Demon Encounter!
Ability 2: Painting Realm – Strengthened
Speed of flying birds increase. Hana can gain huge Damage Reduction and a Haste bonus while in the painting.
MIRAGE REALM
New shikigami Samurai X, Hangan, Maestro, Kuro, Higanbana, Yuki Onna, Miketsu, Kikyo, Yasha, Ichimokuren, Momo and Satori will join Mirage Realm.
HEIAN-KYO MAHJONG
New Mahjong Fight chessboard decorations have been added.
Summer Beach and Shadowy Realm chessboard decorations have been added along with new Summer Mascot. You can now buy new items, Black Daruma Box from the Mahjong Fight Shop to draw decorations and also exchange decoration shards for decoration items.
OPTIMIZATIONS AND ADJUSTMENTS
Added colors for distinguishing enemy and ally factions in the Prediction Quest notice after using Prophecy Card.
