June 19th 2020 Update Patch Notes
The Onmyoji Arena June 19th 2020 Update sees NetEase Games has adjusted and redesigned Satori’s abilities.
Free Shikigami Lineup Adjustments
Onmyoji Arena will change the lineup of the limited-time free shikigami at 5:00 AM on 6/22. The new free shikigami will be Youko, Ebisu, Hannya, Ibaraki Doji, Aoandon, Susabi, Yasha, and Dodomeki.
Of these shikigami, Yasha and Dodomeki have a difficulty of Extreme. Onmyoji who have been in Heian-kyo for less than 7 days can’t use them in battle.
Satori Redesign
We have adjusted and redesigned Satori’s abilities, keeping the batting gameplay while reducing the difficulty of executing it.
After the redesign, Satori can use Ability 2: Pitch to generate multiple club bombs at the same time, whereby she can hit the closest one in the designated direction by adjusting her position. The hit club bomb is how Satori will mainly deal damage and ensure survivability. After using Ability 3: Dash Attack, the next club bomb can be hit at a faster speed, ensuring the smooth chaining of attacks.
Trait: Ultimate Swing
Passive effect: After helping to seal an enemy shikigami, Satori reflects a club bomb near the target and her Movement Speed increases. This Haste effect gradually weakens over time.
Ability 1: Club Smash
Satori swings her spiked club in the designated direction and creates a shock wave to deal physical damage to enemies within range and inflicts a Knockback effect to enemies hit by the spiked club within the inner circle.
Inflicts a Slow effect to enemies hit by the shock wave in the outer circle.
Ability 2: Pitch
Satori throws a club bomb to a designated enemy to deal physical damage. After hitting the target, the club bomb will reflect towards the drop point.
Satori can store 1 club bomb at regular intervals up to a maximum of 3.
Ability 3: Dash Attack
Satori dashes in the designated direction while swinging her spiked club and deals physical damage to enemies on the way.
The cooldown of Home Run will be reduced for each club bomb Satori hits with Home Run. Using Home Run within a short period of time after Dash Attack will hit the club bomb at a faster speed.
Ultimate Ability: Home Run
Satori swings her spiked club and hits the nearest club bomb within 200 yards in a designated direction to deal physical damage to enemies along the path and slows them. For each target hit, damage will decrease by 10%, up to a maximum decrease of 50%. After that, Satori will recover HP.
Every time she uses Home Run, Satori will gain 1 Blasting mark, stacking up to 2 times. Having 1 Blasting mark will increases Home Run’s damage; if she has 2 Blasting marks, using Home Run will trigger it, further increasing the damage dealt.
Kingyo Adjustments
Although Kingyo’s flexibility was increased with the previous adjustment, the burst damage decrease was slightly greater than we expected. We have readjusted the burst damage accordingly.
Ability 1: Fan Dance: Water Blast
Adjusted cooldown from 8/7.65/7.3/6.95/6.6 seconds to 8/7.55/7.1/6.65/6.2 seconds.
Ultimate Ability: Goldfish Sentinel
Increased AP Bonus from casting this ability from 60% to 65%.
Adjusted the AP Bonus from dealing damage by summoning the goldfish from 40% to 42.5%.
