May 21st 2021 Update Patch Notes
The Onmyoji Arena May 21st 2021 Update sees the Treasure exclusive epic skin, Ichimokuren Polaris Luminescence, is now available!
Free Shikigami Lineup Adjustments
Onmyoji Arena will change the lineup of the limited-time free shikigami at 5:00 AM on May 24th, 2021. The new free shikigami will be Jikikaeru, Hana, Kani Hime, Yamawaro, Ootengu, Oitsuki, Kyonshi Ani, and Ittan-momen.
Onmyoji who own the God of Fortune Month Pact will have the additional free shikigami, Yoto Hime and Chin.
Of these shikigami, Kyonshi Ani and Ittan-momen have a difficulty of Hard. Onmyoji who have been in Heian-kyo for less than 7 days can’t use them in battle for free.
Balance Adjustments
Kainin
Ability 2:
Adjusted damage from 70/110/150/190/230 (+85% extra Attack) (+8/9.5/11/12.5/14% of target’s lost HP) to 70/100/130/160/190 (+85% extra Attack) (+8% (+1.25% for every 100 extra Attack) of target’s lost HP).
Adjusted cooldown from 8/7.5/7/6.5/6 seconds to 8 seconds for all levels.
Ability 3:
Adjusted cooldown from 12 seconds to 14 seconds for all levels.
Oitsuki
Oitsuki’s overall damage capability in the early and mid game is relatively weak, so we have increased Ability 1’s base damage and Ability 2’s damage coefficient against minions.
Ability 1: Inviting Moon
Adjusted base damage from 50/85/120/155/190 to 60/100/140/180/220.
Ability 2: Crescent Moon
Adjusted damage coefficient against minions from 1.4/1.45/1.5/1.55/1.6 to 1.4/1.5/1.6/1.7/1.8.
Tesso
As the previous adjustment to Tesso did not meet our expectations, we have suitably adjusted Tesso’s burst damage and ability cooldowns in the early and mid game.
Ultimate Ability: Insurance Policy
Adjusted cooldown from 26/20/14 seconds to 35/25/15 seconds.
Adjusted Attack Speed from 2.5-4 to 2-4 (increases according to number of Coins).
Nekomata
We have adjusted Nekomata’s basic attack damage and the cooldowns of Chacha for Scuffling Kitties and Come in Kitties to balance her suppression capability.
Ability 1: Kitty Assist
Chacha: Adjusted base damage from 15 to 10.
Yuki Hime: Adjusted Attack Damage coefficient from 125% to 100% (+1.5%*level).
Ability 2: Scuffling Kitties
Adjusted cooldown from 9.5/9/8.5/8/7.5/7/6.5 seconds to 9.5 seconds for all levels.
Ability 3: Come in Kitties
Chacha: Adjusted cooldown from 10/9.75/9.5/9.25/9/8.75/8.5 seconds to 14/13.5/13/12.5/12/11.5/11 seconds for all levels.
Adjustments to Subdue
Currently, there is a strategy in which you carry multiple Subdues, invade the jungle while giving up minion wave resources in the early game, and then use the EXP compensation from minion waves in the mid game to quickly level up. Compared to normal strategies, you can obtain higher EXP and control capability of jungle resources using this strategy. We will try out not giving the additional EXP compensation from minion waves to shikigami who carry Subdue to balance the strength of this play style.
Treasure System
Treasure exclusive epic skin, Ichimokuren’s skin, Polaris Luminescence, is now available! Players who have reached Treasure Level VII can use the Treasure Exclusive Epic Skin Gift Box to obtain this skin.
Review System
The Review System is now available! You can now review recent battles in Casual Match and Ranked Match, and check the match previews, income/EXP graphs, and other match information.
Galaxy Travel Event
Vampira’s OPL exclusive skin, Galaxy Travel is available for a limited time from May 21th to June 3rd, 2021 with a 12% discount.
