May 8th 2020 Update Patch Notes
The Onmyoji Arena May 8th 2020 Update sees new shikigami Zashiki make her official debut on the Heian-kyo battlefield.
FREE SHIKIGAMI LINEUP ADJUSTMENTS
Onmyoji Arena will change the lineup of the limited-time free shikigami at 5:00 AM on May 11th, 2020. The new free shikigami will be Komatsu, Ichimokuren, Tanuki, Yumekui, Inugami, Menreiki, Shiro, and Lord Arakawa.
Of these shikigami, Shiro and Lord Arakawa have a difficulty of Extreme. Onmyoji who have been in Heian-kyo for less than 7 days can’t use them in battle.
NEW SHIKIGAMI INVADES HEIAN-KYO!
This week sees Zashiki make her official debut on the Heian-kyo battlefield. Zashiki’s dyed skin, Kerria, is also available to purchase in the Skin Shop.

SHIKIGAMI ADJUSTMENTS
1. Miketsu
The MP costs of Miketsu’s Ability 1, Ability 2 and Ability 3 are relatively high and the gain from Ability 1 hitting is low. We have suitably reduced the MP cost of Ability 2 and Ability 3, and increased the damage of Ability 1.
Ability 1: Divine Arrow
Adjusted damage from 110/175/240/305/370 (+160% extra Attack) to 10/80/150/220/290 (+180% extra Attack).
Ability 2: Fox Realm
Adjusted MP cost from 50 to 40.
Ability 3: Rain of Arrows
Adjusted MP cost from 40/45/50/55/60 to 35/40/45/50/55.
2. Chin
The feathers of Chin’s Ability 2 have a relatively large boost from their attack effect. We have adjusted the attack effect’s damage of the feathers and increased the base damage and Attack bonus as compensation.
Ability 2: Poison Feathers
Adjusted damage from 30/37.5/45/52.5/60 (+0.2 extra Attack) to 25/35/45/55/65 (+0.32 extra Attack).
Adjusted attack effect coefficient of projectiles from 1 to 0.32.
3. Ubume
We will optimize the disappearance method of the stacks of Ubume’s Natural Passive, so that she can better protect the stacks of her Passive. At the same time, we have made suitable adjustments to the damage of her Ability 2 and MP cost of her Ability 3 to balance her strength when laning and jungling.
Natural Passive: Shadow Wing
After the duration of Shadow Wing, instead of the stacks disappearing immediately, they will now reduce by 1 stack every second.
Ability 2: Crane Song
Adjusted damage from 30/65/100/135/170 (+55% Attack) to 30/60/90/120/150 (+45% Attack).
Ability 3: Night Visitor
Adjusted MP cost from 60 to 40/45/50/55/60.
4. Yamakaze
The invincibility that Yamakaze gains when he leaves the target’s vision as part of his Natural Passive is too frequent, making it difficult for the enemy to counter. We have adjusted this to him gaining a short period of damage immunity when he leaves the target’s vision, in hope that the opponent can use control abilities to counter Yamakaze’s nimble movement.
Natural Passive: Haze
Invincibility adjusted to damage immunity.
Ability 3: Slash
Adjusted damage from 40/65/90/115/140 (+50% extra Attack) to 40/60/80/100/120 (+45% extra Attack).
5. Kaguya
Currently, Kaguya relies mainly on casting her Ability 3 and ultimate ability during laning and teamfights. We hope that by adjusting her Ability 1 and Ability 2, their functions will become more prominent, and Kaguya will be able to actively suppress opponents when laning.
Ability 1: Horai Branch
Removed the increased basic attack damage to nearby teammates.
Adjusted damage from 30/55/80/105/130 (+15% current MP) (+30% Ability Power) to 70/120/170/220/270 (+10*level) (+60% Ability Power).
Adjusted Slow effect from 15/20/25/30/35% to 40/47.5/55/62.5/70%, and increased duration from 1 second to 1.25 seconds.
Ability 2: Moonlight Echo
New: Reduces the target’s Armor and Magic Resist by 12/14/16/18/20% on hit for 3 seconds. Multiple hits will not stack the effect, but will refresh the duration.
Ultimate Ability: Dragon Jewel
Adjusted maximum damage reduction from 40/50/60% to 30/37.5/45%.
6. Ibaraki Doji
Ibaraki Doji currently mainly relies on the chaining of his Ability 2 and ultimate ability to instantly kill the enemy, making his continuous combat capability quite weak. It is also difficult for him to achieve good results in teamfights during the late game.
We have optimized the mechanics of his Natural Passive and Ability 1 to make his continuous damage output stronger. Also, we have increased the ability of Ibaraki Doji to take damage.
Natural Passive: Demonic Might
Adjusted the base percentage of converting bonus HP to Armor from 3% to 3.5%. If he doesn’t take any damage within 10 seconds, the conversion coefficient is increased to 3 times. When taking damage, the conversion coefficient will return to base value over 3 seconds.
Ability 1: Rashomon – Remade
When Ibaraki Doji deals damage to enemy shikigami with abilities or basic attacks, he will increase his Armor and Magic Penetration by 2/2.5/3/3.5/4% for 5 seconds, up to a maximum of 8 stacks.
Ability 3: Six Realms of Hell
Adjusted damage from 20/30/40/50/60 (+0.14/0.2/0.26/0.32/0.38 Attack Damage) to 25/35/45/55/65 (+0.14/0.18/0.22/0.26/0.3 Attack Damage) (+3*level).
Adjusted HP conversion ratio from 0.125 to 0.15.
Ability 4: Infernal Hand
Adjusted damage from 280/540/800 (+30/37.5/45% of target’s lost HP) to 260/500/740 (+25/30/35% of target’s lost HP).
