Overview
Hsin is a five-star Electro Resonator who fights with a Rectifier. She plays as a Main DPS, and most of her big hits count as Resonance Skill DMG, including the ones that come from her Heavy Attacks, Intro Skill, and Resonance Liberation.
She has two Resonance Modes. Unison lets her trigger her Outro Skill without spending Concerto Energy, so the team swaps more often and passes buffs around. Electro Flare turns her into a debuff carry who stacks Electro Flare on enemies and then detonates it with her Resonance Skill.
Strengths:
Most of her damage counts as Resonance Skill DMG, so one bonus type covers Realm Wanderer, Pillars Aligned, Beholding All Horizons, Pillars Across Heaven, and her Manifold Unison Intro Skills.
In Unison mode, switching out while she holds Unison triggers her Outro Skill and the next Resonator’s Intro Skill without using Concerto Energy.
Her Outro Skill buffs the team in both modes by consuming Nightglow, which she gains when she enters combat or casts Pillars Across Heaven: 20% All DMG Amplification for 30s for teammates with Shared Light in Unison, or 20% Electro DMG Amplification for 20s for every other Resonator in Electro Flare.
In Electro Flare mode, Formshift puts 5 stacks of Electro Flare on nearby enemies at once, and her second Inherent Skill can push targets to 16 stacks through Fleeting Thunder.
Formshift grants 21 stacks of Edict for 45s. While Edict lasts, damage from the active Resonator calls down a Soaring Pillar as a Coordinated Attack, up to once per second.
Weaknesses:
Her Electro Flare burst scales with Heart of Thunder, which only builds when teammates inflict Electro Rage. Without that support, Heartward by Moon loses most of its extra damage.
The rotation is long: fill 100 Answering Heart, cast Realm Wanderer, Formshift, fill 300 Illumining Heart, enter Mechanism Dominion, drain the gauge, then finish with Beholding All Horizons and Pillars Across Heaven.
She needs at least 118% Energy Regen before crit stats start to pay off.
Unison Response does not work in Co-op Mode.
Her stronger Heavy Attacks, Realm Protector and Stilling All Horizons, are each available only once every 24s.
Hsin build guide
Hsin’s build follows her damage type. Her damage is Electro and mostly counts as Resonance Skill DMG, so her best weapons boost Resonance Skill DMG and her Echoes stack Electro DMG Bonus and crit.
Energy Regen comes first. Reach 118%, then put everything else into Crit DMG and Crit Rate. Weapon numbers below are at rank 1 unless noted.

Best weapons
All three recommended weapons are five-star Rectifiers. Pick the one that best supports Resonance Skill DMG. The guide lists no four-star option.
Blooming Jadehaven is Hsin’s signature weapon and her best choice. It grants 12% All-Attribute DMG Bonus. After she inflicts Electro Flare or triggers Unison Response, her Resonance Skill DMG is Amplified by 36% and ignores 10% of the target’s Electro RES. While she is the active Resonator, Electro Flare DMG taken by nearby targets is also Amplified by 30% for 30s. Both triggers are things she already does in her two modes, so the effect stays up in Unison and in Electro Flare. At rank 5 these values rise to 24%, 72%, 24%, and 60%.
Lethean Elegy is the second choice. It gives 12% ATK, and for 12s after she deals Echo Skill DMG she gains 32% Resonance Skill DMG Bonus and 32% Echo Skill DMG Amplification, and ignores 8% of the target’s DEF. The catch is the Echo Skill trigger. Reminiscence: Suhsin the Inevitable has a 20s cooldown, so if you cast it on cooldown the buff covers 12 of every 20 seconds.
Stringmaster grants 12% Attribute DMG Bonus. Dealing Resonance Skill DMG adds 12% ATK, stacking twice for 5s, and she gains another 12% ATK while off the field. Most of her hits count as Resonance Skill DMG, so she keeps both stacks up without trying.
Best Echoes and Sonata Effects
Reminiscence: Suhsin the Inevitable belongs in the main slot. At max Echo rank, on Hsin, its Echo Skill deals 5 hits of 8.20% Electro DMG and one hit of 232.56% over a larger area, instead of the usual 4 hits of 27.36% and one of 164.16%. It also grants 10% Electro DMG Bonus, plus another 10% for 30s after she inflicts Electro Flare, gains Unison, or triggers Unison Response. The cooldown is 20s.
Heart of Sworn Vigil is the set to pair with it. The 2-piece bonus gives 10% Electro DMG. The 5-piece bonus grants 15% Crit. Rate and 22.5% Electro DMG for 30s, and it uses the same three triggers as the Echo. She hits those triggers in either mode, so both bonuses stay active, and the 15% Crit. Rate covers part of the 75% target.
Nightmare: Tempest Mephis with Void Thunder is the fallback. The Echo deals 405% Electro DMG and grants 12% Electro DMG Bonus and 12% Resonance Skill DMG Bonus in the main slot, with a 25s cooldown. Void Thunder gives 10% Electro DMG at 2 pieces. At 5 pieces it adds 15% Electro DMG after a Heavy Attack or Resonance Skill, stacking twice for 15s each. Her rotation runs on those two actions, so both stacks stay up, but you lose the Crit. Rate from Heart of Sworn Vigil and have to find it in substats.
Both setups use the same 4-3-3-1-1 cost layout: Crit. Rate on the cost 4 Echo, Electro DMG Bonus on both cost 3 Echoes, and ATK% on both cost 1 Echoes.
Recommended stats
At level 90, aim for at least 75% Crit. Rate, 265% Crit. DMG, and 118% Energy Regen.
Substat priority is Energy Regen until 118%, then Crit. DMG and Crit. Rate, then ATK, then Resonance Skill DMG Bonus. Energy Regen leads because the rest of the build does not matter if her rotation stalls. Once you pass 118%, more Energy Regen stops being the priority.
Skill priority
Unlock both Inherent Skills first. Tides of Succession gives her 50% ATK for 8s after a Manifold Unison Intro Skill in Unison mode. In Electro Flare mode, it gives 25% Electro DMG Bonus when teammates inflict Electro Flare, stacking twice. Gleaning Simple Joys raises the Unison Boon cap in Unison mode, and in Electro Flare mode it builds Thunderglow toward Fleeting Thunder.
After that, raise Resonance Liberation, Forte Circuit, and Normal Attack to level 10, and stop Resonance Skill and Intro Skill at level 8.
Resonance Liberation comes first because it holds Pillars Across Heaven, her finisher, which counts as Resonance Skill DMG, along with the Edict pillars. Forte Circuit holds Realm Wanderer, Pillars Aligned, and Beholding All Horizons. Normal Attack comes next because the Illumining Form Basic Attacks you spam during Mechanism Dominion live there. Resonance Skill and Intro Skill matter less, so level 8 is enough for both.
Resonance Chain guide
The guide recommends S2, S3, and S6. S2 is the best place to stop if you only want one copy.
- S1: Formshift grants 2 stacks of Radiance Ward, which reduce DMG taken and prevent interruption. In Unison, Manifold Unison Intro Skills deal 15% more, plus 10% per Unison Boon stack. In Electro Flare, entering combat raises Heart of Thunder to 50 stacks if it is below 50, once every 12s, and the Heartward by Moon multiplier rises to 42% per stack.
- S2: Realm Wanderer, Realm Protector, Beholding All Horizons, and Stilling All Horizons deal 60% more. Entering combat resets the cooldowns on Resolution of Wishes and Law of Heaven and restores 100 Answering Heart, once every 12s.
- S3: Pillars Across Heaven deals 70% more. In Unison it gains 20% Crit. DMG plus 15% per Unison Boon stack, up to 4 stacks. In Electro Flare, its final hit triggers an extra Electro Flare proc at 1500% of the current multiplier.
- S4: The whole team gains 20% All-Attribute DMG Bonus for 30s when anyone inflicts Electro Flare or Electro Rage, gains Unison, or triggers Unison Response.
- S5: She takes 20% less DMG in Illumining Form and survives one fatal blow every 10 minutes.
- S6: Targets take 40% more Resonance Skill DMG from Hsin, and her Resonance Skill DMG ignores 20% DEF. In Unison, the Unison Boon cap rises again. In Electro Flare, Electro Flare DMG near her can crit, with Crit. Rate fixed at 80% and Crit. DMG at 230%.
S2 makes the rotation faster. The 100 free Answering Heart on combat entry gets her to Formshift much sooner, and both enhanced Heavy Attacks get stronger.
S3 is a large boost to her finisher in both modes. S6 is the last big step, since it raises all of her Resonance Skill DMG and lets her Electro Flare damage crit.
Best teams for Hsin
The recommended team is Hsin, Rover: Electro, and Buling. Chisa and Jinhsi can replace Rover: Electro, and Suisui can replace Buling.
Rover: Electro is the teammate Hsin’s kit names directly. In Electro Flare mode, Tides of Succession gives both Hsin and Rover: Electro 20% Electro DMG Bonus for 30s when Rover: Electro casts Thunderous Fury, their Intro Skill. Rover: Electro’s recommended build also feeds Hsin. Flash of Electric Reflection gives the incoming Resonator 25% Electro DMG Bonus when Rover: Electro uses their Outro Skill after inflicting Electro Flare, and Soulfrayer adds another 12% Electro DMG Bonus through the Outro Skill.
Buling is a four-star Electro healer who supports the whole team. Variation restores Concerto Energy on Resonance Skill, Fallacy of No Return gives the team 10% ATK for 20s, and Rejuvenating Glow adds 15% ATK for 30s whenever she heals.
