Overview
Suoming is a five-star Electro Resonator who fights with a Sword. She plays as a Sub DPS built around Unison, and most of her damage counts as Basic Attack DMG, including the hits from her Intro Skills, Sealed Delusion, Unforsaken Mind, and Engraved Heart.
She moves between three states. She starts in Awakened Mind, enters Deep Mind through her Intro Skill or by filling 800 Delusion and casting Sealed Delusion, and drops into Calamity Mind while she casts Engraved Heart. Deep Mind unlocks her Resonance Liberation, which grants her Unison for 5s, so she can swap out, trigger her Outro Skill, and buff the next Resonator without spending Concerto Energy.
Strengths:
Her Outro Skill gives the incoming Resonator 20% Electro DMG Amplification for 8s, plus 25% Resonance Skill DMG Amplification if they have Unison Boon.
With Aligned Seals, her Outro Skill also grants 30% Electro DMG Bonus, plus 20% for each stack of Unison Boon the incoming Resonator has, for a total of up to 70%.
Resonance Liberation grants Unison, so she triggers her Outro Skill far more often than Resonators who need full Concerto Energy.
When she casts her Outro Skill while holding Unison, the next Resonator’s hits summon up to 6 Thunder Crests as Coordinated Attacks over 8s, so she keeps adding damage after she leaves the field.
When she has Unison, Rift Cleaver can turn it into Seal Master for 12s, which raises the multipliers of her Unfurled Canopy and Whirling Thunder attacks by 100% and her Crit. DMG by 100% when you want her to deal damage herself.
Weaknesses:
Her Outro buffs last only 8s, or until the incoming Resonator switches out, so the next Resonator has to spend that window well.
The Resonance Skill DMG Amplification and most of the Aligned Seals bonus depend on Unison Boon, so she needs another Unison Resonator such as Hsin to reach her full value.
Seal Master and Aligned Seals cancel each other, so each rotation you choose between her personal damage and her team buff.
While she casts Engraved Heart she cannot move, dodge, or switch out until the skill ends.
She needs at least 118% Energy Regen to cast her Liberation on time.
Unison Response does not work in Co-op Mode.
Suoming build guide
Suoming’s build follows her damage type. Her damage is Electro and mostly counts as Basic Attack DMG, so her Echoes stack Electro DMG Bonus and crit, and Basic Attack DMG Bonus is her last substat.
Energy Regen comes first. Reach 118%, then put everything else into Crit DMG and Crit Rate. Weapon numbers below are at rank 1 unless noted.

Best weapons
All three recommended weapons are five-star Swords with Crit. Rate as their second stat. The guide lists no four-star option.
Unspoken Rue is Suoming’s signature weapon and her best choice. It gives 12% ATK. When she gains Unison while not already having it, she gains 30% Electro DMG Bonus for 30s, and every Resonator in the team gains Binding Mind, worth 24% Electro DMG Bonus for 30s. When she consumes fewer than 100 points of Concerto Energy, Binding Mind ends and she gains Yearning Mind instead, an extra 40% Electro DMG Bonus for 14s that ends when she switches out. Her Liberation grants Unison every rotation, so the team buff stays up. At rank 5 these values rise to 24%, 60%, 48%, and 80%.
Red Spring is the second choice. It gives 12% ATK. Dealing Basic Attack DMG adds 10% Basic Attack DMG Bonus for 14s, stacking up to 3 times, and consuming Concerto Energy adds 40% Basic Attack DMG Bonus for 10s. Most of her damage counts as Basic Attack DMG, so she gets the full value, but Red Spring gives the team nothing.
Emerald of Genesis is the standard banner option. It gives 12.8% Energy Regen, and casting a Resonance Skill adds 6% ATK, stacking twice for 10s. The extra Energy Regen helps her cast her Liberation on time, which keeps Unison and her rotation going.
Best Echoes and Sonata Effects
Reminiscence: Suhsin the Inevitable belongs in the main slot. At max Echo rank, its Echo Skill deals 4 hits of 27.36% Electro DMG and one hit of 164.16%, with a 20s cooldown. In the main slot it grants 10% Electro DMG Bonus, plus another 10% for 30s after she gains Unison or triggers Unison Response. The bigger version of its attack only applies to Hsin, but the buffs work on anyone.
Heart of Sworn Vigil is the set to pair with it. The 2-piece bonus gives 10% Electro DMG. The 5-piece bonus grants 15% Crit. Rate and 22.5% Electro DMG for 30s after she inflicts Electro Flare, gains Unison, or triggers Unison Response. Her Liberation grants Unison every rotation, so the bonus stays active, and the 15% Crit. Rate covers part of the 70% target.
Impermanence Heron with Moonlit Clouds is the support setup. At max Echo rank, the Echo deals 310.56% Havoc DMG and restores 10 Resonance Energy when the first hit lands. If she casts her Outro Skill within 15s, the next Resonator deals 12% more damage for 15s. Moonlit Clouds gives 10% Energy Regen at 2 pieces and, at 5 pieces, 22.5% ATK for the next Resonator for 15s after her Outro Skill. This setup feeds the team more, but you lose the Crit. Rate and Electro DMG from Heart of Sworn Vigil.
Both setups use the same 4-3-3-1-1 cost layout: Crit. Rate on the cost 4 Echo, Electro DMG Bonus on both cost 3 Echoes, and ATK% on both cost 1 Echoes.
Recommended stats
At level 90, aim for at least 70% Crit. Rate, 270% Crit. DMG, and 118% Energy Regen.
Substat priority is Energy Regen until 118%, then Crit. DMG and Crit. Rate, then ATK, then Basic Attack DMG Bonus. Energy Regen leads because she needs her Liberation for Unison, and Unison drives both her buffs and her rotation. Once you pass 118%, more Energy Regen stops being the priority.
Skill priority
Unlock both Inherent Skills first. Rain-Soaked Covenant gives her 50% Electro DMG Bonus for 15s after any of her Intro Skills, and her Unison Intro Skills also restore 10 Concerto Energy, once every 25s. Sunken Seal, Forged Lock holds Aligned Seals and Seal Master, the two effects that decide what each rotation does.
After that, raise Forte Circuit, Normal Attack, and Resonance Liberation to level 10, and stop Resonance Skill and Intro Skill at level 8.
Forte Circuit comes first because it holds Sealed Delusion, Unforsaken Mind, and Engraved Heart, all of which count as Basic Attack DMG. Normal Attack comes next because it holds the Unfurled Canopy and Whirling Thunder strings she uses in Deep Mind. Resonance Liberation holds Miasma Lock and the Thunder Crests. Resonance Skill and Intro Skill matter less, so level 8 is enough for both.
Resonance Chain guide
The guide recommends S2, S3, and S6. S2 is the best place to stop if you only want one copy.
- S1: Unforsaken Mind can no longer be interrupted, and all four of her Intro Skills deal 60% more.
- S2: Her Crit. DMG rises by 40%. Her Outro Skill gives the incoming Resonator 10% Crit. DMG, plus 6% per stack of Unison Boon they have, up to 24%, for 30s or until they switch out.
- S3: Flash Rift and Thunder Rending grant 1 stack of Unison Boon for 30s, once every 25s. Casting her Liberation grants her 30% Basic Attack DMG Amplification for 25s.
- S4: Her ATK rises by 20%.
- S5: Miasma Lock deals 40% more.
- S6: Each stack of Unison Boon is 50% stronger for the whole team, and the cap rises to 4 stacks. Engraved Heart deals 50% more, and Seal Master gives her another 200% Crit. DMG.
S2 raises her own crit damage and gives the next Resonator extra Crit. DMG through her Outro Skill.
S3 adds another source of Unison Boon and a large boost to her Basic Attack DMG after each Liberation. S6 is the last big step, since it makes her a stronger buffer for Unison teams and raises her personal damage.
Best teams for Suoming
The recommended team is Suoming, Hsin, and Shorekeeper. Sanhua can replace Hsin, and Buling or Verina can replace Shorekeeper.
Hsin is the main damage dealer Suoming supports. Hsin can trigger Unison Response and grant Unison Boon, so she unlocks the 25% Resonance Skill DMG Amplification from Suoming’s Outro Skill and most of the Aligned Seals bonus. Most of Hsin’s damage counts as Resonance Skill DMG, so that amplification lands on nearly everything she does. The rotation runs Suoming’s Liberation, a Unison swap into Hsin, back to Suoming for Basic Attacks until her Concerto Energy is full, then her Enhanced Basic Attack and an Outro Skill into Hsin’s damage rotation.
Shorekeeper is a five-star Spectro healer who keeps the team alive and adds ATK. Stellar Symphony gives the team 14% ATK for 30s when her Resonance Skill heals, Fallacy of No Return gives the team 10% ATK for 20s, and Rejuvenating Glow adds 15% ATK for 30s whenever she heals.
