August 21st 2020 Update Patch Notes
The Onmyoji Arena August 21st 2020 Update sees Hiyoribou’s Qixi skin Exquisite Painting is now available for a limited time.
Free Shikigami Lineup Adjustments
Onmyoji Arena will change the lineup of the limited-time free shikigami at 5:00 AM on August 24th, 2020. The new free shikigami will be Jikikaeru, Momo, Vampira, Kiyohime, Yumekui, Tanuki, Yasha, and Kisei.
Onmyoji who own the God of Fortune Month Pact will have the additional free shikigami, Ryomen and Susabi.
Of these shikigami, Yasha and Kisei have a difficulty of Extreme. Onmyoji who have been in Heian-kyo for less than 7 days can’t use them in battle for free.
Shikigami Adjustments
Hiyoribou
We’ve discovered that there have been some experience issues when using Hiyoribou’s abilities after the previous adjustments to ability mechanics. We hope to optimize these issues, for a better experience when using Hiyoribou.
Ability 1: Warm Day
Added a flight direction indicator that can only be seen by Hiyoribou when Warm Day is gathering Energy.
Optimized the display of the casting action when moving.
Ability 3: Scorching Sunlight
Adjusted duration of the Burning Eyes state stacks from 1 second to 1.5 seconds.
Ultimate Ability: Noontime Sun
Shortened the casting animation, so that the ability will take effect earlier.
Adjusted the cast range from 700 yards to 850 yards.
Ootengu
Ootengu’s Ultimate Ability: Blade Storm was easily interrupted when he was killed or casting Ravening Zither. We have made some adjustments to the mechanics of this ability.
Ultimate Ability: Blade Storm
The casting of this ability will now not be interrupted by Ravening Zither or his own death.
