August 6th 2021 Update Patch Notes
The Onmyoji Arena August 6th 2021 Update sees Aoandon’s Summer Wind series skin, Tale of Summer is now available.
Free Shikigami Lineup Adjustments
Onmyoji Arena will change the lineup of the limited-time free shikigami at 5:00 AM on August 9th, 2021. The new free shikigami will be Kubinashi, Bakekujira, Shouzu, Zashiki, Shishio, Dai Shimei, Kyonshi Ani, and Yokinshi.
Onmyoji who own the God of Fortune Month Pact will have the additional free shikigami, Higanbana and Aobozu.
Of these shikigami, Kyonshi Ani and Yokinshi have a difficulty of Hard. Onmyoji who have been in Heian-kyo for less than 7 days can’t use them in battle for free.
Shikigami Adjustments
Karasu Tengu
Karasu Tengu is relatively weak when facing mainstream top solo shikigami. We have made suitable adjustments to his tankiness and added healing capability to his ultimate ability.
Ability 1: Wiry Feathers
Adjusted basic attacks’ Damage Reduction from 8%/11%/14%/17%/20% to 10%/15%/20%/25%/30%.
Ultimate Ability: Deadly Flock
New: Karasu Tengu will recover HP equal to 30% of the damage dealt by this ability.
Yuki
Yuki has decent DPS output while also providing frequent control in the late game. We hope to control his growth by adjusting his trait and Ability 3.
Trait: Snow Chaser
Adjusted the bonus damage based on the target’s Max HP from the special basic attack from 4% (+0.2%*current level) to 5%.
Ability 3: Falling Snow
Adjusted healing amount from 10%/12.5%/15%/17.5%/20% of lost HP to 10%/11%/12%/13%/14% of lost HP.
Ubume
Ubume is currently rather weak in advanced matches. We have strengthened the Slow effect from her trait in order to increase her abilities’ accuracy.
Trait: Shadow Wing
Slow effect from Shadow Wing stacks will no longer be reduced over time.
Ability 2: Crane Song
Adjusted MP cost from 30/35/40/45/50 to 30 for all levels.
Aori
Currently, Aori has powerful control capability while also being rather flexible, often resulting in opponents having a hard time countering her. We have made suitable adjustments to the cooldown of Aori’s ultimate ability and reduced the strength of her Ability 2’s control.
Ability 2: Meteor Spider
Stun effect has been adjusted to a 90% Slow effect that lasts for 1.4/1.55/1.7/1.85/2 seconds.
Adjusted projectile speed from 1500 to 1650.
Ultimate Ability: Final Red Star
Adjusted cooldown from 70/65/60 seconds to 80/70/60 seconds.
Hiyoribou
Currently, the triggering of Hiyoribou’s ultimate ability’s protection is rather stable, and the long protection duration makes it quite hard for opponents to wait until the ultimate ability’s duration ends, so we’ve reduced the duration of Hiyoribou’s ultimate ability.
Ultimate Ability: Noontime Sun
Adjusted Protect duration from 5 seconds to 3.5 seconds.
Takiyasha Hime
We hope that the different forms of Takiyasha Hime’s ultimate ability can all have more suitable situations for use. Currently, the overall strength of some forms is low, so we’ve appropriately adjusted the benefits of using the more vulnerable forms.
Ultimate Ability: Shadowless Sundown
Tempest: Slow duration increased from 1.5 seconds to 2.5 seconds.
Immovable: Adjusted Max HP Bonus of Shield from 12/15/18% to 12/17/22%.
Aoandon
Previous adjustments to Aoandon did not meet expectations. We will be adding some guaranteed minimum damage to her Ability 1 under the premise of keeping her burst capabilities.
Ability 1: Butterfly Shadow
Adjusted Ability Power bonus damage based on current MP from 0.0125% to 0.005%.
New: 15% Ability Power bonus.
Oitsuki
As the previous adjustments to Oitsuki did not meet expectations, we have made further adjustments in hopes of solving Oitsuki’s overall issue of low room for error when laning.
Base Stats
Adjusted Armor from 64 to 68.
Adjusted Magic Resist from 60 to 64.
Ability 1: Inviting Moon
Adjusted base damage from 60/100/140/180/220 to 80/120/160/200/240.
Ability 2: Crescent Moon
Adjusted ballistic width from 280 yards to 290 yards.
Adjusted Rabbit Soul’s maximum appearance range from 500 yards to 650 yards.
