December 14th Update Patch Notes
Here’s the Onmyoji Arena update patch notes on December 14th, 2018 has announced by NetEase Games on the Onmyoji Arena official Facebook page.
Onmyoji Arena will change the lineup of the limited-time free shikigami on December 17th, 2018. The new free shikigami will be Futakuchi, Kaguya, Karasu Tengu, Ryomen, Shishio, Aoandon, Komatsu, Mouba and Mannendake.
Of these shikigami, Komatsu, Mouba and Mannendake have a difficulty of Extreme. Onmyoji who have been in Heian-kyo for less than 7 days can’t use them in battle.
“I’m the king of the forest!”
As the king of the forest, Yamakaze knows how to take advantage of the jungle. He can use Ability 3: Slash or Ability 2: Wind while in the jungle to add a Tear mark to an enemy, use Slash again to hit the Tear marked target to trigger the Tear effect and greatly decrease the cooldown of Slash. After acquiring his ultimate ability: King of the Forest, Yamakaze can trigger the power of the forest to create a thorny bush. He can add marks on enemies and take advantage of the jungle to instantly refresh his Dash ability.
Natural Passive: Haze
When Yamakaze leaves his current target’s vision, his HP will be restored by a certain rate of the damage received and his next basic attack will deal extra physical damage and inflict a slow effect.
Ability 1: Violent
Yamakaze dispels Control effects for himself and enters Invisibility state for a short time.
Ability 2: Wind
Yamakaze throws rotating blades towards the specified direction and adds a Tear mark to enemies on the way, dealing physical damage and inflicting a slow effect.
Ability 3: Slash
Yamakaze slashes towards the specified position and deals physical damage to hit enemies on the way also basic attacks will have a special effect. If he hits an enemy with a Tear mark, the Tear effect will be triggered to deal extra physical damage and greatly decrease the cooldown of Slash.
If Yamakaze uses Slash in the jungle or thorn bush, he will add a Tear mark to the hit target and trigger its effect.
Ultimate Ability: King of the Forest
Passive trigger: If Yamakaze uses Slash when entering the jungle or thorn bush, the cooldown of Slash will be greatly decreased.
Active effect: Yamakaze creates thorns towards the specified direction, during which he increases his movement speed when in the jungle or thorn bush and becomes invisible to enemies without vision in the thorn bush.
Yamakaze will first be available in this week’s Shikigami Brawl. Please get ready!

2. The rule that a 5-player team can match with a team made up of 5 random players influence the game experience and fairness. Therefore, Onmyoji Arena has adjusted the matching rules. 5-player teams can now only match with other 5-player teams. This new matching rule may influence the matching time.
