December 30th 2022 Update Patch Notes
The Onmyoji Arena December 30th Update sees The 5th Anniversary exclusive limited event, Temporal Grace, arrives.
New Events
5th Anniversary Scroll
Event Period: December 30th, 2022 to January 15th, 2023.
During the event, complete all scroll quests to claim 5th Anniversary gifts including the 5th Anniversary Avatar Frame, 5th Anniversary Expression, 5th Anniversary Broadcast Theme, and 5th Anniversary Unowned Shikigami Chest. Unlock all chapter scrolls to get 1 bonus Auspicious Daruma.
Cosmic Painting
Event Period: December 30th, 2022 after maintenance to January 13th, 2023.
During the event, spend 60 Jade to activate the 7-day Sign-in Quest and claim multiple rebate rewards! There’s even a chance to obtain the 2019 Back to School Avatar Frame, City of Machines Avatar Frame, Phantom Feast Avatar Frame, and other rare rewards!
Lush Fantasy – Returning Skin
Event Period: December 30th, 2022 after maintenance to January 12th, 2023.
Shiranui’s Dream of Clouds series skin, Abundant Jade, Dodomeki’s Steam Age series skin, Steam: Observer, Momiji’s 4th Anniversary skin, Vermilion Hail, and Kyonshi Imoto’s 3rd Anniversary skin, Black Jade Dragon, will return for a limited time!
They will be available in the Skin Shop from December 30th, 2022 after maintenance to January 12th, 2023. Mechanics Adjustments
Enmusubi
During fights, Enmusubi encounters the issue of not being able to approach enemy shikigami easily and having a relatively low ability hit rate. We hope that by adjusting her ability mechanics, we can shorten her distance from enemies and ensure that she has a guaranteed way to join the fight, thereby improving the user experience.
Ability 2: Perfect Pair
Swapped the manner of casting for the first and second stage and adjusted the corresponding cast range.
Ability 3: Soul Mate
When Enmusubi bestows blessings on ally shikigami, she bestows a blessing on herself as well.
When Enmusubi bestows blessings on herself, if there are ally shikigami within the ability range, the nearest ally will be bestowed a blessing as well.
Inugami
Currently, the casting feel for Inugami’s Ability 1 does not flow satisfactorily. We have shortened Ability 1’s casting preparation time and matched the controls with the display effect triggered by the ability. We hope these adjustments can improve the smoothness of players’ control while using Inugami. Additionally, we have adjusted the casting mode of Inugami’s Ability 3 to further increase Inugami’s flexibility and controllability.
Ability 1: Loyal Heart
Shortened the ability casting preparation time.
Ability 3: Rising Wind
While Inugami is charging, players can drag the ability joystick to select the direction of his slash.
Free Shikigami Lineup Bulletin
We will change the lineup of the limited-time free shikigami at 5:00 AM on 1/2. The new free shikigami will be Chin, Tesso, Tenjo Kudari, Kuro, Yumekui, Menreiki, Yasha, and Shiranui.
Onmyoji who own the God of Fortune Month Pact will have the additional free shikigami, Ryomen and Kiyohime.
Of these shikigami, Yasha and Shiranui have a difficulty of Hard. Onmyoji who have been in Heian-kyo for less than 7 days can’t use them in battle for free.
