February 1st 2024 Update Patch Notes
The Onmyoji Arena February 1st 2024 Update sees new shikigami Susanoo make his debut on the Heian-kyo battlefield.
New Shikigami
Susanoo
Once bore a glory more dazzling than today’s,
He witnesses the most unbearable despair in the world.
Blessed by the divine, the light of thunder pierces the sky, illuminating the path ahead.
“From now on, I will stand with the world.”
Ability 1: Thunder
Susanoo rushes 4 times in a designated direction, each time dealing physical damage to enemies in his path and gaining Divine Fury. During this time, the direction of the rush can be adjusted by controlling the joystick. During the enhancement, each basic attack can reduce the cooldown of this ability.
Ability 2: Lightning Glory
Susanoo summons 6 lightning bolts to attack enemies within range, inflicting physical damage and a Slow effect, while also providing stackable Shield.
Ability 3: Divine Realm
Susanoo gathers thunder spears to rotate around him, during which Susanoo is immune to basic attacks and reduces the damage received. When the duration ends or this ability is used again, he deals physical damage and stuns enemies within range.
Ultimate Ability: Orochibane
Active Effect: Susanoo leaps to a specified area, dealing physical damage to enemies within range. If this ability successfully slays an enemy, it will additionally inflict a paralysis effect and apply Heavenly Punishment to nearby enemies.
Passive effect: When Susanoo is sealed, he provides Shield for nearby teammates.
Trait: Divine Fury
Heavenly Punishment: When Susanoo enters the battlefield, he deals True Damage to enemy shikigami, slows them down, and gains their vision.
Heavenly Might: When Susanoo’s basic attacks and abilities hit an enemy shikigami, he gains Heavenly Might. When Heavenly Might is at full stacks, he gains extra Attack Speed and Armor and Magic Resist, and his basic attacks are enhanced.

Royal Treasures – Returning Skin
Event Period: February 1st 2024 after maintenance to March 14th 2024
Yoto Hime’s royal skin Dawn Blade, Higanbana’s royal skin Underworld Splendor, and Futakuchi’s royal skin Melodious Meow are making their first comeback. During the event, you can exchange for them using Daruma Coins in Daruma Blessing – Treasures.
Prior to each royal skin’s first return, we will provide Onmyoji who already owned the royal skin with an exclusive “tag”, including an exclusive Novice – Royal skin tag and an exclusive Royal Honors limited-edition achievement (this can be viewed under the Achievements and can be displayed on the home page and shared through the chat system). Onmyoji who obtain a royal skin upon or after its first return will only obtain the royal skin tag but not the limited-edition Royal Honors achievement and the original royal avatar frame.

Daruma Exchange Survey
Event Period: The voting period is from February 1st 2024 after maintenance to February 29th 2024. The top 3 winning skins and the Skin Selection Box of the 4th-8th skins will be added to Daruma Blessing for exchange after March 1st 2024.

You can get 1 Survey Ticket by logging in daily and 1 Survey Ticket for every battle completed.
The number of completions for Loop Quests is unlimited, and they can be repeatedly completed during the event period.
After a limited skin has returned for sale a certain number of times, the Dev Team will clearly state that the skin “will no longer return for direct sale and will enter the Daruma Exchange Survey return pool”. By the time the event starts, skins that have returned in any form within the past year and crossover skins will not enter the voting pool, while all other skins in the Daruma Exchange Survey return pool are eligible to enter the voting pool.
Skins that have been in the Daruma Exchange Survey return pool for a full year can leave the pool and enter other event pools.
For skins about to leave the Daruma Exchange Survey return pool, the Dev Team will clearly state that the skin “will not return in the form of the Daruma Exchange Survey”.

Item Adjustments
After the adjustment of Mage equipment in the new season, Shichimen Tennyo has become somewhat weak, which leads to the relatively mediocre performance of the corresponding shikigami in the new season. Therefore, we have relatively increased the Ability Power of Shichimen Tennyo. The value for money of the attributes of Shadow Fan and Eight Trigrams equipment is also somewhat low, so we have adjusted them accordingly.
Shichimen Tennyo
Effect adjustment: The damage increase effect obtained after stacking 5 layers is increased from 5% to 10%.
Shadow Fan
Stats: Adjusted from +200 MP to +250 HP.
Mandala Sutra
The trigger cooldown is increased from 9 seconds to 15 seconds.
Optimizations and Adjustments
The matching rules have been optimized when the pre-selection mode is enabled. When playing solo, if you are currently in a promotion/relegation match, or if you have not been assigned to your main selected position for several consecutive matches, only the main selected position will be enabled in the next match to ensure that you are assigned to your main selected position. At the same time, if the matching waiting time is too long, you can manually switch back to the original “main + secondary selected position” mode.
Optimized the trigger conditions and interaction experience of the Art Realm.
Free Shikigami Lineup Adjustments
Onmyoji Arena will change the lineup of the limited-time free shikigami at 5:00 AM on 2/5. The new free shikigami will be Komatsu, Hana, Tanuki, Yumekui, Kiyohime, Aobozu, Yasha, and Mouba.
Onmyoji who own the God of Fortune Month Pact will have the additional free shikigami, Shouzu and Kainin.
Of these shikigami, Yasha and Mouba have a difficulty of Hard. Onmyoji who have been in Heian-kyo for less than 7 days can’t use them in battle for free.
