February 6th 2024 Update Patch Notes
The Onmyoji Arena February 6th 2024 Update sees World Roamer series skins and Yoto Hime Longing Whispers skin arrives.
Battlefield Adjustments
Namazu Pool adjustments in the Namazu environment: After the highland turret is destroyed, the corresponding camp’s highland Namazu Pools will permanently disappear. We expect the highland Namazu Pools to be better used by players from the corresponding highland camp, while also reducing the impact of this terrain on team fights in the highlands.
Fixed the issue where the player could not properly occupy when falling within the Lantern Soul’s range while using the Namazu Pool.
The sound played while riding the Sea-Crossing Kraken in the Kraken environment has been adjusted to be audible across the entire map, paired with a mini map display for enhanced prompts.
If the Lantern Soul and Shinkiro Blossoms are not occupied for a certain amount of time, their progress bar will automatically revert to the unoccupied state.
Optimized the mini map icon effect of Shinkiro Blossoms and removed the mini map icon of Namazu Pools to enhance the clarity of the battlefield mini map.

Balance Adjustments
Oitsuki
Oitsuki’s is somewhat too powerful, with her solo laning kills and harassment ability being overly strong in the early game. Additionally, as a mage shikigami with a leaning towards the assassin type, her Natural Passive recovery is a bit too high. We have slightly reduced the base damage of Oitsuki’s Ability 2 Crescent Moon and the recovery effect of her Natural Passive, hoping to bring her strength back to a reasonable range.
Trait: Bright Moon
Regen per second reduced from 10 (+12% Ability Power) (+3*Current Level) to 6 (+12% Ability Power) (+2*Current Level), lasting for 3s.
Ability 2: Crescent Moon
Adjusted base damage from 90/140/190/240/290 to 80/120/160/200/240.
Kagura
As a Marksman shikigami, Kagura’s burst damage was a bit too high, which made her somewhat too powerful. Therefore, we have slightly reduced Kagura’s burst damage.
Ability 2: Don’t Try to Escape
The enhanced ranged basic attack has been adjusted from 40/60/80/100/120 (+110%/112.5%/115%/117.5%/120% Attack) to 40/60/80/100/120 (+110% Attack).
Yuki Onna
As a Mage shikigami, Yuki Onna’s damage is somewhat low, so we hope to increase Yuki Onna’s ability damage. As a balance adjustment, we have slightly reduced Yuki Onna’s control capabilities.
Ability 1: Dusk Snows
The delay time for ice crystal has been reduced from 1.3s to 1.2s.
Damage adjusted from 60/80/100/120/140 (+25% Ability Power) to 60/90/120/150/180 (+40% Ability Power).
Ability 3: Frost Breath
Knockup duration reduced from 0.3s to 0.2s.
Inuyasha
Inuyasha’s late-game strength is a bit excessive, making his performance in the late game, especially in non-Fog matches, somewhat too dominant. We have slightly reduced Inuyasha’s late-game stats, hoping for a balanced performance across all tiers.
Ability 1: Wind Scar
The Attack Speed Bonus gained from each basic attack has been reduced from 4%/5.5%/5%/5.5%/6% (+0.65%*Current Level) to 4%/5.5%/5%/5.5%/6% (+0.3%*Current Level).
Kyuumei Neko
Kyuumei Neko is a bit weak, so we slightly increased her Attack Speed gain and increased her damage coefficient against monsters, hoping that Kyuumei Neko can have a relatively reasonable performance in the early and mid game.
Attack Speed gain increased from 0.68 to 0.73.
Passive: Nine Lives
CRIT effect increased from 165% to 185%.
Yasha
Yasha is currently underperforming. In some cases, he fails to trigger the Shura mark when his Ability 1 Shura is immediately followed by a basic attack or Ability 2 Phantom. This makes Yasha’s ability casting experience relatively poor, so we hope to optimize it. At the same time, we have slightly increased the damage of Yasha’s Ability 1, hoping that Yasha can perform better.
Ability 1: Shura
Optimized the experience of chaining basic attack or Ability 2: Phantom after using Ability 1.
Mark trigger damage increased from 65/80/95/110/125 to 65/85/105/125/145 (+55% Bonus Attack).
Mushishi
As a shikigami who cannot be targeted for a long duration, Mushishi’s high damage during the laning phase creates a rather poor experience for the opposing side. Therefore, we hope to shift the focus of some of her abilities from damage to shielding and healing as a support shikigami. We hope that after the adjustment, she can bring a more reasonable counter experience.
Ability 1: Insects Awaken
Damage dealt in Returning Butterfly state adjusted from 80/125/170/215/260/305 (+50% Ability Power) to 65/113/161/209/257/305 (+50% Ability Power).
Ability 2: Returning Butterfly
Damage reduced from 60/125/190/255/320 (+75% Ability Power) to 40/105/170/235/300 (+75% Ability Power);
Base regen per stack increased from 8/16/24/32/40 (+15% Ability Power) to 8/16/24/32/40 (+25% Ability Power).
Ability 3: Insect Dance
Shield increased from 120/180/240/300/360 (+75% Ability Power) to 140/195/250/305/360 (+90% Ability Power);
Ability duration increased from 2s to 3s.
Karasu Tengu
Karasu Tengu’s current sustained combat capability is weak, and he poses little threat without his Ultimate Ability. We will increase the damage of his Natural Passive Purification Wings in hopes that he will perform better after the adjustment.
Natural Passive: Purification Wings
Damage dealt by each crow increased from 10 (+50% Bonus Attack) (+3*Current Level) (+0.5% of the target’s max HP) to 12 (+50% Bonus Attack) (+5*Current Level) (+0.5% of the target’s max HP).
Itsumade
Itsumade’s damage from a full skill combo in the early to mid-game is currently too low to pose a sufficient threat to the enemy’s back row. Therefore, we have increased the damage of Ability 1: Hunter Repellent and Ultimate Ability: Feather Dance in the early to mid-game. We hope this will provide a better experience for Itsumade as a Ninja shikigami.

Ultimate Ability: Feather Dance

Cute Pair-Up
New Purple Pet Blessing Summon! Healing Turret!
After channeling for 1s, a turret will be summoned at your location to assist you in battle. The turret will heal you periodically and provide a damage resistance effect for a certain duration.
New Purple Pet Blessing Summon! Freeze Turret!
After channeling for 1s, a turret will be summoned at your location to assist you in battle. After entering the turret’s attack range, you will gradually slow down over a period of time and inflict Freeze and damage. This effect has a certain cooldown.
New Golden Pet Blessing Detonate! Boom boom boom!
Your teammates’ damage or abilities can attach a bomb to the target. Your attacks can detonate the bomb to deal damage. After the bomb is detonated, there will be a certain cooldown.
Purple Pet Blessing Mystical Protection
Original effect: Picking up blind boxes or sealing Summer Ducky grants a boost to both damage and Armor and Magic Resist that lasts for a while.
Optimized effect: Picking up blind boxes or dealing damage to Summer Ducky will grant a boost to both damage and Armor and Magic Resist that lasts for a while. At the same time, bubbles are generated, which will deal bonus damage when landing a hit.
Golden Pet Blessing Loads of Fish
As the actual effect did not meet expectations, the Pet Blessing Loads of Fish will be temporarily removed from Cute Pair-Up.
Purple Pet Blessing Enhanced Blessing
Due to the excessive benefits of additional damage, we have reclaimed some of the damage from Enhanced Blessing.
Enhanced Blessing: Additional damage adjusted from 25 (+10*Current Level) (+2.5% enemy max HP) to 25 (+6*Current Level) (+2% enemy max HP).
Green Pet Blessing Occult: Discern
In Cute Pair-Up, the damage options against shields are somewhat limited, so we have increased the damage dealt by Occult: Discern to shields.
Occult: Discern: Damage increase against shields adjusted from 28% to 65%.
Purple Pet Blessing Occult: Purge Evil
In Cute Pair-Up, shikigami with high HP stacking are too hard to counter. Therefore, we have increased the damage of Occult: Purge Evil against shikigami with higher HP than oneself, hoping that the adjustment will bring a more reasonable counter experience.
Occult: Purge Evil: The damage increase against shikigami with higher current HP than you has been raised from 4%~16% to 5%~25%, and the HP difference to reach maximum damage has been reduced from 60% to 50%.
Golden Pet Blessing Night Visitor
As the Pet Blessing Night Visitor is bound to displacement trigger, the triggering conditions are quite strict. Therefore, we have increased the damage benefits of Night Visitor, hoping that the adjustment will bring greater threat when combined with displacement.
Night Visitor: Damage increased from 200 (+120% Ability Power) (+150% Bonus Attack) (+60*current level) to 200 (+120% Ability Power) (+200% Bonus Attack) (+80*Current Level).
Demon Encounter Balance Adjustments
Hoshiguma Doji
Ultimate Ability Enemy in the Bowl: AoE damage increased from 50/100/150 (+20% Ability Power) to 150/250/350 (+50% Ability Power). The attack damage of confused units has been adjusted from 20/30/40 (+50% Ability Power) to 60/100/140 (+50% Ability Power).
Orochi
In the true form, the additional HP is increased from 1200/1800/2400 + 300% Ability Power to 1500/2200/2900 + 400% Ability Power, and the damage of Venomous Tooth is increased from 60/100/140/180/220 (+120% Ability Power) (+10*Current Level) to 60/120/180/240/320 (+150% Ability Power) (+15*Current Level).
System Features
The collection rewards for the Jade Prayer series have been updated in Gallery – Diversified World – Mountain and Sea Ambition, and the World Roamer series has been added, including the display of 5 corresponding skins and collection rewards. Onmyoji can go check it out.
Optimizations and Adjustments
Optimized the clarity of the countdown tips for selecting shikigami in Ranked Matches. In addition, fixed the issue where pre-selected shikigami were erroneously added to the ban list during the shikigami banning stage.
Free Shikigami Lineup Adjustments
Onmyoji Arena will adjust this week’s limited-time free Shikigami at 5 a.m. on Monday (February 12th 2024). The new free Shikigami will be Kaoru, Kusa, Kyonshi Imoto, Yamawaro, Aoandon, Furi, Senhime, and Lord Arakawa.
Onmyoji who own the God of Fortune Month Pact will have the additional free shikigami, Kaguya and Hououga.
Among them, Lord Arakawa is a high-difficulty Shikigami. Onmyoji who have been in Heian-kyo for less than 7 days cannot use him in battle for free.
