Esports in Asian Games 2018 finally kicked off to the fullest today, August 26th of 2018, with Arena of Valor as the first game in competition.

In summary, Global Ban Pick is a rule that the same hero cannot be played more than once in a game within the same team. Heroes that were used by the team in the previous match are automatically banned in their remaining matches during the same game.

The SEA Games 30 Vietnam Qualifier will determine the Vietnam national team to qualify for the SEA Games 30. The winning team from this tournament will qualify for the SEA Games 30 in Philippines.

The winners of the Arena of Valor Regional Qualifiers are Taiwan (Chinese Taipei), China, Hong Kong, Vietnam, Thailand, Laos, and India.
