Arena of Valor March 23 Update Patch Notes

The Arena of Valor March 23 Update sees Diaochan, Thane, and Zill have been adjusted.

Hero Adjustments

Diaochan

Designer’s perspective:

Currently, Diaochan is not performing that well in many aspects. In the early game, she is unable to crowd control and gain possession of her lane. In the later game, she also becomes an easy target when she casts her ultimate. As such, we’ve strengthened her.

Details:

Skill 1 damage: 400+90/Skill Lv. + APx0.75 → 500+70/Skill Lv. + APx0.75

Shield when casting ultimate: 300 armor bonus → 600 armor bonus

Thane

Designer’s perspective:

Thane’s crowd control capability lasts too long, so we’ve made appropriate changes so that his opponents have room to breathe.

Details:

Skill 1, knocking into the air after final attack: 1s → 0.75s

Zill

Designer’s perspective:

Once Zill accumulates cooldown reduction, he can constantly cast his skill 2. On top of that, he is also untargetable with his ultimate, causing him to be overly strong. As such, we’ve made adjustments to his late-game shield value.
