January 7th 2022 Update Patch Notes
The Onmyoji Arena January 7th 2022 Update sees Yasha’s OPL exclusive skin, Fallen Star: Scorching Flames is available for a limited time.
Free Shikigami Lineup Adjustments
Onmyoji Arena will change the lineup of the limited-time free shikigami at 5:00 AM on 1/10. The new free shikigami will be Futakuchi, Hako Shoujo, Hououga, Hannya, Kyuumei Neko, Menreiki, Satori, and Shiro.
Onmyoji who own the God of Fortune Month Pact will have the additional free shikigami, Yoto Hime and Tamamonomae.
Of these shikigami, Satori and Shiro have a difficulty of Extreme and Hard respectively. Onmyoji who have been in Heian-kyo for less than 7 days can’t use them in battle for free.
Balance Adjustments
Ungaikyo
Ungaikyo’s survivability is quite strong. With the extra utility from his max HP and continuous recovery abilities granted in both forms, he is very difficult to seal, especially when the enemy is not dealing enough damage. Thus, we decided to reduce his recovery ability.
Base Stats
Adjusted Base HP from 480 to 440.
Trait: Yin and Yang
When Ungaikyo deals damage to the enemy, the amount of HP restored to his other form is reduced from 1.2% (+0.12% *current level) Max HP to 1% (0.07% * current level) Max HP.
Increased the minimum HP requirement needed to use the sealed form again from 40% to 75%.
New Events
Fire Assistance
Event Period: January 7th to January 13th, 2022.
Log in to the game during the event to claim 3 Decoy Fires. Decoy Fires can prevent one soul fire from being extinguished when onmyoji below Challenger tier or take part in Ranked Match in a team.
Double Bonus
Event Period: January 7th to January 13th, 2022.
During the event, when you join Ranked Matches during the period of 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM, you can earn double bonuses for the first 3 battles including coin bonus, bond bonus, and shikigami proficiency bonus. Further details can be checked via the schedule list.
Fallen Star: Scorching Flames
Event Period: January 7th after maintenance to January 20th, 2022
