Optimizations and Adjustments

Recently, we received lots of feedback that players were not able to vote for their favorite skins in the Daruma Exchange Survey. The Service Team has decided to postpone the voting event, originally scheduled to end on September 22nd, 2023, for the top three returning skins by one week. Additionally, we will be increasing the number of returning skins. Thank you for your patience and anticipation!

Enhanced the casting experience for Hououga’s Ability 1 Chaos Firespark, Puppeteer’s Ability 3 Occult Thread, Furi Ability 3 Hook Spin. The casting experience for Ittan-momen’s Ability 3 Nocturnal will be optimized in a future update.

Balance Adjustments

Puppeteer is slightly weak during the mid to late game. We hope to enhance her prowess during the late game by adjusting Ability 1 Puppet Arousal so that the enhanced Basic Attack works for both melee and ranged form, and enhanced the melee damage during the late game. We hope this will provide Puppeteer with more combat capabilities at close range.

Ability 1 Puppet Arousal:

Enhance the puppet. The next 3 basic attacks will be enhanced for both ranged and melee form.

Ability 2 Occult Flurry:

Damage increased from 30/55/80/105/130/155 (+45% Bonus Attack) to 30/60/90/120/150/180 (+55% Bonus Attack).

Furi’s laning capacities are too powerful, often creating a huge advantage. With this round of adjustments, we hope to weaken it by some extent. Also, we optimized the width of the Double from the Ultimate Ability Double Gust to enhance the combo of Ability 3 Hook Spin and the Ultimate Ability Double Gust.

Ability 1 Sticky Bombs:

When attached to Minions, damage dealt to other enemy units within range reduced from 25% to 10%.

Ultimate Ability Double Gust:

Increased the model width of the Double.

Yato no Kami

After the last adjustment, Yato no Kami is slightly too weak. We increased Ability 1’s damage value in hopes of providing Yato no Kami with improved performance.

Ability 1 Nighttime Invitation:

Slash damage increased from 15/25/35/45/55 (+55% Attack) (+2 Current Level) to 15/28/41/54/67 (+60% Attack) (+2.2 Current Level).

Damage from consuming 1 stack of Red Moon to deal an additional slash increased from 10/20/30/40/50 (+40% Attack) (+2 Current Level) to 11/22/33/44/55 (+45% Attack) (+3 Current Level).

Damage from the final slash increased from 20/45/70/95/120 (+80% Attack) (+4 Current Level) to 22/55/88/121/154 (+90% Attack) (+4.5 Current Level).

Hako Shoujo

Hako Shoujo is currently weak during the mid to late game, giving the impression that she only has an ultimate that’s useful during teamfights. Her Ability 2 that is hard to land hits and therefore, it’s quite difficult for Charm to take effect.

To increase her control capabilities, we increased the cast range for Ability 2, the chain’s flight speed, and Ability 2’s slow reduction. To balance her laning capabilities, we slightly lowered the damage from Ability 1 during the early game.

Ability 1 Glittering Light:

The damage has been reduced from 100/160/220/280/340 (+55% AP) (+6% bonus maximum health) to 80/145/210/275/340 (+55% AP) (+6% bonus maximum health).

Ability 2 Glittering Shield:

The width of the chains is increased from 150 to 200

Chain flight speed increased from 1100 to 1400.

Slow duration increased from 1.2 seconds to 1.8 seconds.

Right now, Oitsuki’s damage and mobility falls slightly short compared to other Mage Shikigamis during the mid to late game. As a Charge-type Mage Shikigami, Oitsuki should have higher mobility in the late game to find opportunities to launch attacks. Also, at the opportune moments, Oitsuki should deal enough damage to be a threat to the enemy’s back row.

And so, we reduced the cooldown for Oitsuki’s displacement ability Moonchaser as it levels up and increased the Ability Power bonus for the Ultimate Ability Clear Moon, in hopes of elevating Oitsuki’s late game damage and mobility without compromising her early game performance.

Ability 3 Moonchaser:

Cooldown reduced from 12 seconds across all levels to 12/11.5/11/10.5/10 seconds.

Ultimate Ability Clear Moon:

Damage increased from 250/425/600 (+65% Ability Power) to 250/425/600 (+90% Ability Power).

Yoto Hime

Yoto Hime is currently too weak, with long cooldowns and easily at a disadvantage in jungling and laning. The burst damage from Ability 2 is also weak, making it hard for her to be a threat. We reduced the cooldown of her Ability 2 as the ability levels up and the burst damage from the next 3 strikes after enabling Ability 2 in hopes of increasing her combat prowess.

Ability 2 Devourer:

Cooldown reduced from 12 seconds to 12/11.5/11/10.5/10 seconds.

Base damage for next 3 strikes increased from 67.5% Attack to 75% Attack.

Attack Speed increase within 5 seconds adjusted from 20%/25%/30%/35%/40% to 35%/40%/45%/50%/55%.

Free Shikigami Lineup Adjustments

Onmyoji Arena will change the lineup of the limited-time free Shikigamis at 5:00 AM on September 25th, 2023. The new free Shikigamis will be Komatsu, Hiyoribou, Vampira, Inugami, Aoandon, Enmusubi, Zashiki, and Dodomeki.

Onmyoji who own the God of Fortune Month Pact will have the additional free Shikigamis, Onikiri and Shiro Mujou.

Of these shikigami, Dodomeki has a difficulty of Hard. Onmyoji who have been in Heian-kyo for less than 7 days can’t use her in battle for free.
