September 25th 2020 Update Patch Notes
The Onmyoji Arena September 25th 2020 Update sees new shikigami Hako Shoujo make her official debut on the Heian-kyo battlefield.
Free Shikigami Lineup Adjustments
Onmyoji Arena will change the lineup of the limited-time free shikigami at 5:00 AM on September 28th, 2020. The new free shikigami will be Kubinashi, Kaguya, Kuro, Shuten Doji, Mannendake, Aoandon, Dodomeki, and Kyonshi Ani.
Onmyoji who own the God of Fortune Month Pact will have the additional free shikigami, Suzuka Gozen and Shiranui.
Of these shikigami, Dodomeki and Kyonshi Ani have a difficulty of Extreme. Onmyoji who have been in Heian-kyo for less than 7 days can’t use them in battle for free.
Hako Shoujo Invades Heian-kyo!
This week sees Hako Shoujo make her official debut on the Heian-kyo battlefield. Hako Shoujo’s dyed skin, Beautiful Trousseau, is also available to purchase in the Skin Shop.

Shikigami Adjustments
Kani Hime
Currently, the control stability of Kani Hime’s Ability 3: Crab Pounce and Ultimate Ability: Conch Maelstrom is quite weak. We have made slight adjustments to her control stability and gains, and increased her base MP Regen and damage in the late game to guarantee her strength in the late game.
Base Stats:
Adjusted level growth of MP Regen every 5 seconds from 0.6 to 0.9.
Ability 1: Conch Hammer
Adjusted the extra Max HP bonus from damage dealt to enemies within range from 12% to 12/13.5/15/16.5/18%.
Ability 3: Crab Pounce!
Adjusted Stun duration from 1.2/1.25/1.3/1.35/1.4 seconds to 1.2/1.3/1.4/1.5/1.6 seconds.
Slightly increased the judgment distance of collision into terrain.
Ultimate Ability: Conch Maelstrom
Adjusted charging time for effect to reach maximum from 1.25 seconds to 1.15 seconds.
Momiji
We hope to increase the usefulness of Momiji’s Ability 2: Maple Note, and so we have adjusted the time to generate the shield and the effect of the returning maple letters. At the same time, we have suitably increased the damage dealt by her Ability 2: Maple Note to non-shikigami units in hope that this will increase her lane clearing capability.
Finally, considering the current requirements of Mage shikigami for Fire Kirin Power in the late game, we will gradually adjust some of the special ability effects that do not take effect against monsters, to ensure that Mage shikigami do not take too long to clear monsters.
Ability 1: Maple Puppet
Adjusted so that it now takes effect against monsters.
Ability 2: Maple Note
Adjusted the damage coefficient to non-shikigami units from 150% to 150%/157.5%/165%/172.5%/180%.
Adjusted the shield to be gained immediately upon hitting enemy shikigami.
When the maple letters return, Momiji will gain a 15% Haste effect for 2.5 seconds.
Battle Performance and Display Optimizations
Added a status bar icon for Jorogumo’s Trait: Spider Queen that will show the current number of poisonous tarantulas.
Added a status bar icon for Kamaitachi’s Trait: Beat Down.
Added a status bar icon for Higanbana’s Trait: Blooming Earth.
Adjusted the display rule of the status bar icon for Dodomeki’s Trait: Ghost Eye. It’s now “display current number of opened Ghost Eyes” instead of “display current basic attacks”.
Added a status bar icon for Samurai X’s Trait: Bushido that will show the cooldown status of the Harden state.
Removed the status bar icon for Mannendake’s Trait: Bamboo Whisper: Breath that used to show “moving or dashing will increase Ki”.
Added disappearing effect and sound effect for Tesso’s Ultimate Ability: Insurance Policy.

Optimizations and Adjustments
Added rules for situations where you are unable to use the Decoy Fire item: when rating for the match is too low (less than 5), or when the shikigami you selected is different from your pre-selected position.
Change the Lobby and Shikigami screens to the Autumn theme.
