ABILITIES
Crusade (Passive)
The holy power on Enzo’s device deals 100% of AD physical damage to nearby enemies. Hitting enemies further away deals 35% extra damage and gives Enzo a short movement speed boost. Effects depend on Amputate ranks.
Amputate (1st Ability)
Cooldown: 5/4.8/4.6/4.4/4.2/4 sec.
Mana Cost: 50.
Enzo moves in the target direction and increases attack damage by 25/30/35/40/45/50. Judged targets will be pulled towards Enzo slightly. If an enemy far away is hit by Enzo’s normal attack, the target’s movement speed is reduced by 10/14/18/22/26/30% and Enzo’s movement speed is increased by 10/14/18/22/26/30%.
Judgment (2nd Ability)
Cooldown: 10/9.6/9.2/8.8/8.4/8 sec.
Mana Cost: 70.
Enzo charges for a short while and throws his device, dealing 300/340/380/420/460/500 (+140% of bonus AD) physical damage to targets in its path, and judges the first target hit when the device returns. The longer he charges (up to 4 seconds), the further the device flies. Enzo gains 30% movement speed while charging, and 50% of the cooldown is returned if charging is canceled by player.
While Amputate is active, Enzo can use it again to throw the judged target behind him, consuming the effect in the process. Enzo gains 10/12/14/16/18/20% damage and takes 10/12/14/16/18/20% less damage while fighting a judged target.
If a judged target dies while the debuff is still active, 80% of the cooldown is finished immediately.
Decapitate (Ultimate)
Cooldown: 2.5/2.3/2 sec.
Mana Cost: 80.
Enzo leaps behind a judged target, dealing 350/525/700 (+200% bonus of AD) physical damage to enemies in his path and takes 50% less damage while moving. Only judged targets can be decapitated.
Passive: When Enzo kills or assists in killing an enemy hero, he gains 75% attack speed and 70% movement speed that fades over 5 seconds.
Tips
Stay in mid range to maximize Enzo’s advantage.
STORY
“The darkness has always been there. It lurks within every single one of my works like a hidden tumor.”
Enzo is more than just an inquisitor for the church; he is also an inspired artist, his paintings much sought after by believers for the divine light that fills every brush and stroke. Out of the public eye, he is involved in another kind of creation, his brush the tools of torture and execution, his palette the bright and dark tints of red blood.
As a native of Mt. Ophean, Enzo was indoctrinated with Temple teachings from a young age and accepted into the church for his outstanding artistic talent and pious faith. He was a disciplined and capable student, and though there was always a curious sense of aloofness about him, it did not prevent him from rising quickly through Temple ranks, becoming one of its most promising disciples.
As inquisitor, Enzo was something of a celebrity in the Temple ranks, both admired and envied. But Enzo had no time for either – he was focused on his “artistic work”.
“Blood…such beautiful blood…why do I feel this way?” Dark thoughts permeated Enzo’s mind as he broke the will of his victims bit by bit. As crimson blood dripped onto the cold stone floor, Enzo carefully managed the magnitude and direction of pain and suffering, so that the two scarlet blooms merged into one, a sanguine, seductive red rose. This was Enzo’s first artwork of blood and pain, and he fell irrevocably in love with it. Deep inside, however, Enzo was afraid. Such brutal and violent urges were decidedly at odds with the theological teachings that he received from a young age – it was the stuff of the Abyssal demons.
“Holy Light, pray illuminate my path.” After much prayer and meditation, Enzo decided to confess. After all, the Holy Light was all-knowing, all-illuminating.
“The darkness in our hearts is the sin that we were all born with,” said the priest. “There is no need to fear, and no need to run away. You were born in the light and grew up in its glory. Your soul is strong, as is your faith, and just as the moon and star shines in the night sky, so too can even the blackest darkness give light.”
Expecting to be dismissed from his post, Enzo left the Hall of Gospel with his appointment intact and a serenity in his heart that he had never known before. As he walked into the sun’s rays and the sight of the Temple of Light floating in the air greeted him, Enzo fell to his knees and tears of joy flowed down his face.
The Light is my life, my joy. My soul it shields and comforts, and I shall fear no evil. Having conquered his inner demon, Enzo’s performance became more impressive than ever, and he soon earned a place in the church’s inner circle. He gained access to many of the church’s secrets, and when the renegade ninja Hayate infiltrated the ancestral temple of Mist Island attempting to sever the Pact of Light, Enzo was sent to investigate the incident, as one of the few privy to the knowledge of Mist Island.
Enzo was deeply perturbed as he examined the evidence. A prodigy gone rogue. An infiltration that foiled all mortal safeguards. A rescue in the nick of time. And this suffocating, demonic scent. How did the traitor get past all of Dragon Tower’s defenses, physical and magical? Was this all Hayate’s own doing, or was there someone – several someones, perhaps – behind all this? This was all very interesting, very interesting indeed…
Determined to get to the bottom of this, Enzo resolved to capture Hayate with his own two hands, and he will not rest until he has the renegade in his dungeon, until he has a chance to inflict upon the traitor all that he has learned over the years, until the heretic rues the day he turned against the church.
“Those who besmirch the Light shall know its full fury!”
