January 04th Update Patch Notes
Here’s Onmyoji Arena update patch notes on January 04th, 2019 has announced by NetEase Games on the Onmyoji Arena official site.
Onmyoji Arena will change the lineup of limited-time free shikigami on January 07th, 2019. The new free shikigami are Youko, Yamawaro, Umibozu, Vampira, Kingyo, Kyuumei Neko, Kubinashi, Kyonshi Imoto and Maestro.
Of these shikigami, Kubinashi, Kyonshi Imoto and Maestro have a difficulty of Extreme. Onmyoji who have been in Heian-kyo for less than 7 days can’t use them in battle.
The design of Kikyo was based on the story that she regained her power after resurrection and controlled Soul Collectors. Therefore, she can’t get all her power at the beginning of the battle. Every time of leveling up her ultimate ability, she can regain part of her original power. Besides, if her power meets different objectives, extra ability effects will be triggered.
Kikyo can summon Soul Collectors via basic attacks and also strengthen her basic attack with Soul Collectors. She can shoot powerful Sacred Arrows and can use Soul Burst to knock back enemies who get close. After unlocking the ultimate ability, she can form a realm quickly to increase her power and affect enemies.
As a shrine priestess, Kikyo possesses excellent power of dealing magic damage. As an outstanding arrow user, she can also deal physical damage. She can become Mage shikigami to wear down enemies and Marksman shikigami who launches basic attacks according to your choice.
Natural Passive: Sealing Arrow
Passive effect: When launching a basic attack, Kikyo will shoot a Sealing Arrow to enemy shikigami under a Control effect to deal damage and knock back the target.
Ability 1: Soul Collector
If Kikyo’s basic attack hits an enemy, she will summon a Soul Collector. When the amount of summoned Soul Collectors reaches 5, Kikyo will absorb the souls and enhance the next several basic attacks to deal extra damage and increase movement speed.
When withdrawing from battle, every certain period of time, Kikyo will summon a Soul Collector and restores 1 attempt of enhancing basic attacks.
If Kikyo’s Crit Rate meets the requirements, attempts of enhancing basic attack will be increased.
Basic attack damage and attack speed of this ability will be increased through enhancing Sacred Realm.
Ability 2: Sacred Arrow
Kikyo shoots a Sacred Arrow to the specific direction. Arrow will explode when hitting the first enemy and deal damage to target and surrounding enemies.
If Kikyo’s Ability Power meets the requirement, attack animation time of this ability will be decreased. Cooldown will be decreased as well.
By enhancing Sacred Realm, attack range of this ability will be increased and Sacred Arrow will be granted penetrating effect.
Ability 3: Soul Burst
Kikyo releases soul power to the specific direction to deal damage to enemies within the range and knock back the closest enemy shikigami.
If Kikyo’s extra Attack meets the requirement, she will trigger the Invisibility effect for a short time when using the ability.
By enhancing Sacred Realm, the attack range of this ability will be increased and movement speed will be increased as well.
Ultimate Ability: Sacred Realm
Passive trigger: Every time leveling up Sacred Realm, Kikyo can choose to enhance one of the other abilities.
Enhance Soul Collector: Increases basic attack damage and movement speed.
Enhance Sacred Arrow: Increases attack range and grants penetrating effect to Sacred Arrow.
Enhance Soul Burst: Increases attack range and increases movement speed after use.
Active: Kikyo forms a realm that lasts for 3 seconds. At the moment of forming the realm, all enemies will be expelled out of the realm and her movement speed will be increased. When realm disappears, it will deal damage to enemies within the range and stun them.
Kikyo will first be available during this week’s Shikigami Brawl. Feel her power and get touched by her story!

Adjusted Base Attack Speed from 0.9 to 0.68.

Ability 3: Century Brew
Adjusted HP Regen from 2% for all levels to 1.6/1.7/1.8/1.9/2%.
4. Kubinashi
Natural Passive: Leverage
Adjusted attack speed bonus limit from 29/36/43/50% to 35/45/55/65%.
5. Kyonshi Ani
Ability 1: Kyonshi Amulets
Adjusted the rate of restoring lost HP from 6% to 8%.
Ability 3: Coffin Circle
Adjusted base damage from 15/30/45/60/75 to 20/35/50/65/80.
6. Menreiki
Ability 1: Spirit of Kawakatsu
Adjusted base damage from 35/60/85/110/135 to 45/72.5/100/127.5/155.
Ultimate Ability: Seven Masks
Adjusted enhancing duration time from 10/12.5/15 seconds to 12/14/16 seconds.

Return Cursed Seal: Araliaceae will be claimable at Lv 70.
Peer I
If you sign in for 365 days in total, you can claim the Walk Together avatar frame.
Star Frost
Collect all 12 avatar frames from the Monthly Fortune Packs to claim the Star Frost avatar frame.
1. Heian Festival
Event Period: January 04th, 2019 after maintenance to January 31th, 2019.
Complete daily quests during the event to get Anniversary Cards. Exchange Anniversary Cards for Mystic Shards.
2. Festival Painting Scroll
Event Period: January 04th, 2019 after maintenance to January 31th, 2019
During the event, complete the painting scroll quests to light up the corresponding shikigami on it. Also, rewards like Mystery Voucher, Return Experience Card and Skin Experience Coupon will be granted.
After completing all 7 quests, the Heian-kyo Festival Night frame will be awarded. If you already possess this frame, you will get the Festival Night·Precious frame.
4. Crossover Preview
New crossover event is about to start. You can complete Heian Festival quests to gather Anniversary Cards and prepare for exchanging Mystic Shards in the later events.
5. Recharge Gifts
Event Period: January 04th, 2019 after maintenance to January 17th, 2019
Recharge different amounts of Jade during the event to get generous rewards including Skin Tokens, Mystery Vouchers and Evolution Amulets.
6. Daruma Blessing
Event Period: January 04th, 2019 after maintenance to February 14th, 2019
Buy Festival Packs during the event to get Festival Medals and use medals to exchange for Fortune Daruma. Unseal Fortune Daruma for a chance to get permanent skin and Festival Tokens.
